Let me correct my earlier post abut DOC and level6 felonies. To go to DOC (state prison) your earliest release date has to be at least 366 days from date of sentencing (remember you get 2 for 1 credit so if you are sentenced to a year your ERD is 6 months out). Unless you are sentenced on a...

No, not on a Level 6 felony. DOC won't take him. Whatever time he gets will be either hard time in county OR home detention. He'll want to show up in court next week in orange....with another week (2 weeks of a sentence) under his belt. Then maybe he can get time served with the rest on...

Local media here is worthless. If this was NYC we'd know the cause of death, every detail about how the bodies were found, and a list of suspects and LE theories.

He's not going to bail out. He doesn't want to. He is going to be sentenced next week and will go to jail. He is getting 2 for 1 credit right now and would just as soon stay and continue to do so. If someone bonds him out he will be pissed.

. He should have never talked to the police during a murder investigation without first consulting a lawyer. Rule 1 when you are the subject of a criminal investigation.... ESPECIALLY if you are innocent.... DON'T TALK TO THE POLICE.

Cops are not going to "clear" anyone. They never have. And they won't until they bring charges against one or more people who they think are involved.

A few things.... county by county I imagine the procedure is different for bringing inmates to court on VOP matters. In Indy, I rarely see leg irons... but there are lots of inmates and it would take time and money to affix them to each defendant on court day then take them off. In Carroll...
