I think any plea would involve him admitting to exactly what he did, when, how, etc. I mean the state wouldn't have to accept a plea deal, so if he didn't fully explain what he did, why would they agree to a deal? I would guess the family would want to know also. Perhaps not graphic details...

Perhaps RA has confessed yet again, but this time to the judge during the closed meeting? That would be best case.. No need to continue all the theatrics.. just get a deal done so we don't have to hear about RA again. Just my opinion.
