In the US, insurance follows the car, not the driver. If there is a person who regularly drives your car, you should add them as a named driver on your vehicle. However, it is ok to let someone drive your car who is not named on occasion, and your insurance will still cover accidents, etc.

I just assumed it was due to access. When her parents are in town, her mom would be using her own car, so J would have to use her car, whether insured or not. However, if parents are out of town and another, properly insured, vehicle is available, why not drive it instead? ETA: Also, if she was...

I just took that to mean that maybe some friends stayed over after drinking and she hadn't made up the beds yet. MOO Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Probably worth the family asking this and providing doctor info to the extent they know it. I think even if they think any medical information is relevant to a missing persons case they can request it. Certainly I would think the info about how her ASD impacts her life would be relevant and I...

I think LE can request medical records if there is a suspicion that you have been a victim of a crime. So, if they thought her disappearance is due to a crime, then yes. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

This is what has bothered me. I work at Emory (literally a block from her parents house) and have seen no flyers. The media hasn't covered this at all that I've seen. The only way I knew about this case was because the flyer from Nextdoor was shared on a Facebook group I belong to. Sent from...

IIRC, police reviewed the surveillance footage and said it provided no leads. A lot of security cameras only retain footage for a short period of time on the basis that it's usually only a matter of a few hours between when something happens and when you discover it. For example, if you are a...

It's a pretty big area if you do just a triangle with straight lines between the locations. I made a map. The blue house icon is the parents' house, the orange house icon is Jenna's apartment, and the yellow tear drop icon is where the car was found. Google is calculating that area as 4.38...

Yeah, but I wasn't sure if they had found anything promising on CCTV. We've never heard of any info coming from CCTV, so either LE has seen her car on CCTV and isn't sharing the info, or they haven't found anything worthwhile.

The problem is, we don't ACTUALLY know where she went missing FROM. We can't assume that just because her car was found somewhere that that is where she was last located before she went missing. It could be from her apartment, from her parents' house, from where the car was located, or even some...

She either could have had a co-signer, or there was someone else on the lease. If you have multiple people on the lease they only care that combined income is at least 3 times the rent. If the other renter made enough money to qualify for the lease on their own, Jenna wouldn't have even had to...

What about those things you can keep in your car/on a keychain to break glass of you're trapped in your car? Would that just shatter the glass? Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Well I believe an eye witness saw her driving and/or out that night. I'm just suggesting she never actually drove her own car and someone else did. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Do we even know for sure that she ever drove her own car that night? I think one thing that has always been weird with the timeline is when she would have swapped cars. IIRC, the ex (?) once took her car for the day in August and didn't want to give it back. Is it possible that she was driving...

I haven't looked at all of them but the 2 Piedmont addresses aren't really near each other from a walking standpoint. Notice one is Ave and one is Rd, not the same street. They are like 1.5 miles apart, which isn't far but it wouldn't make any sense to park 1.5 miles away and walk. Sent from...

I think we established from later posts from subie, and news articles, that his father met LE at the car when it was discovered but specifically asked him to keep that quiet until they were ready to make it public. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

I have to echo this. People who haven't lived in a particular neighborhood within the last year or 2 really may have a very different image than what is the current reality. Neighborhoods in Atlanta can change dramatically in the blink of an eye and with a strong interest in living in town with...

<modsnip> Personally, it seems to me that this is going one of 2 ways. Either, LE is just as confused as we are, hence the very confusing statements and information being clarified over and over in different ways. OR, LE has a very legitimate lead/theory that they are working on and are...

There are some odd things about the SC friend for sure, but IIRC, this is a confirmed friend she's known a long time. Also, for those unfamiliar, parts of SC are 5 hours away, but other parts are only about an hour away. So depending on where she lives, it might not have been that far...

One thing to be careful of is that a person doesn't have to be super tall to push the seat all the way back. Some people have long legs. For example, I'm 5'10", which might be tall for a woman, but it's fairly average for a man, and in a small to mid size sedan, I push the seat all the way back...
