Thank goodness they got to him before he succumbed to his injuries. It must have been touch and go for a while. I would imagine and hope that any good judge and jury will convict with the harshest possible sentencing.
I did wonder about a potential drugs link when Colombia was mentioned. I would imagine those cartels have had bases in major european cities for many years. But I am also keen not to jump to any conclusions, and accept that maybe the guy just happens to be Colombian and it's totally unrelated to...
This is interesting - DM saying he has stab wounds to the chest, likely self inflicted. Stab wounds and a fired crossbow bolt wound would be quite different I imagine. Also implies he was carrying a knife at least, and possibly other weapons too that may have been used to subdued the family.
I believe the police were already searching an area of Leigh Woods nearby - I'm not sure if they found anything there or if they are even still searching there but there were photos of them in the wood.
Agreed with all the other comments that regardless of the level of the Bristol suspect's...
Forensics were on the scene today too, which also implies something of note was found there with the ambulance following. Sounds awful but perhaps not everything fit in the suitcases.
He could have tied/gagged them all and then gone on a rant for however long before finally killing them and fleeing.
There could also just have been no appointments on that day, or perhaps they were not operating appointments out of the house so it wasn't a concern.
The option is also there that whoever did kill the two individuals wanted them found for whatever reason - a warning, a message, whatever. And so the idea was to put them in the Avon which as another commenter mentioned is tidal and would likely wash them up onto the mud banks. I would imagine...

Remains are now being treated as two individuals. Woah.
And "A crime scene is in place at a location in Shepherd's Bush in west London."
I have to say that if the man is a Bristol resident, it is a seriously bizarre place to dump the cases like that on the bridge. Everyone in Bristol (I lived there for years and my direct family still do, and live in Clifton) knows that the suspension bridge was a hotspot for suicides and is...
Oh I completely agree with you - I was just making the point that it is very easy to shoot yourself and seriously injure yourself with a crossbow - but to actually effectively kill yourself instantly with a single crossbow bolt is an entirely different matter.
Regarding the practicality of shooting himself with the crossbow; I spent some years in an archery club growing up, and did interact with crossbows as well as bows. Some styles of crossbow have a sort of lever to discharge them rather than a trigger; it would be very possible to easily fire it...
Kyle Clifford: What we know about suspect and victims of Bushey triple murder
Summary article this morning, covering most of the major points.
I'm so glad he was caught. I wonder about the extend of his injuries as he was stretchered out, but I think LE would have said if he was in was...
BBC News currently showing helicopter shots over an extremely wooded area in Gordon Hill/Enfield area where the search is focused right now - adds further credance to the possibility mentioned in this thread that he could have comitted suicide in the wood somewhere, or is at least hiding there.
It's been another three years or so since visiting WebSleuths for me. This was one of the cases that just sticks in my mind and I kept thinking about over the years. I hadn't realised about all the latest developments until today - what a tragedy. While I am glad there has been a resolution, as...
Three years since I was last active on Websleuths.
This case really stuck with me. I was hoping to login and find that there was some closure - unfortunately not. I hope one day we will know conclusively what happened to Tony.
Aha! Glad to see you getting involved then :)
I don't believe the men in the video had much information to add, unfortunately. Like you say, it is super frustrating with how many issues have hindered this case at every turn, and the police do indeed appear to be very suspicious.
Not sure if...
Hi Scottishem1 :)
I'm on my phone at the moment so I can't provide sources, but these guys were identified as being military, and have been interviewed by law enforcement, though quite some time after Damien's disappearance.

His Facebook is interesting. A lot of spam posts from apps etc, but if you scroll back far enough you see a bunch of posts about basketball, all of which he signs off with the...
