I really want to know just how far off the info released by LE was from the actual truth. My grandson did a huge paper on this case in college and I helped with some of the research. LE did ALOT of speculation and not much fact.
I wanted to share the video I watched yesterday. I am wondering if Barbara Nave could read lips. The video poster could be on the right track-maybe she saw something and read their lips. These missing people in Sumter have to be somewhere.
<modsnipped info not allowed even if public record> If she does not follow up and present herself at a LE so Sumter LE can be sure the phone call was from her, then her photo needs to be shared and reshared on Facebook so maybe someone knows something and will come forward. After what happened...

Just read this article. This couple went missing in 1973. 15-year-old Bonnie Bickwit and boyfriend 16-year-old Mitchel Weiser
Did LE check with other campgrounds along I-95 to determine if the couple was traveling and staying at campgrounds? There is a campground where I95 and US 76 cross which is near where the fruit stand would have been.

I have a question about one of the rings the female was wearing. It was turquoise with coral stone (I think) with what looked like a silver feather. Did the ring have any markings inside such as an initial or anything? I cannot find the info in the posts. Thanks.
"I know who they are, and 1976 is not the year they died."
I just happened to notice this quote from a post. What does that mean? If they died prior to 1976, would it be possible to preserve the bodies and dump them in 1976 as in using a freezer? Wouldn't the coroner have noticed if this...
I read in a back issue of The Item, a local newspaper in Sumter, SC, that the employee of the campground stated that the couple had luggage. I have not read this anywhere else. Also is it possible the couple were NOT a couple but were killed by the same person and left togeather to make it...
