There is a new podcast out that gives lots more details about this case. It confirms the ex-boyfriend's name as well. It's called "Telling Lives" and it's five episodes in. Some of the interviews are difficult to hear but overall it's good. I just wish more people were listening.
I had my wisdom teeth surgically removed the summer I turned 13 (not sure if I was 12 or 13). They hadn't emerged yet though. That wouldn't normally happen for a few more years but they said mine were so impacted that they never would've and would've given me problems. Hence the removal.
With all the success lately on social media with other cases, I'm wondering if now might be a good time to try something new.
I also wish I could find that episode of Find Our Missing.
Has anyone found any info on her as a UID? It's sounding like she (as the UID) was forgotten about and wasn't in any databases. I may be overlooking it though or it may have already been taken down. If the UID was forgotten about, it sure makes you wonder how many others are out there like that.
After the success of the social media campaign for Grateful Doe, I feel like this would perfect for an "Ain't Dere No More" (ADNM) New Orleans Facebook group I am part of. However, it concerns me that there's no Namus or Doenetwork page for him. We could throw the photo of the sketch and write...

I'm confused. I thought the Dub family was found at the Lake/Eng cabin at Wilseyvlle.
One has to wonder why DNA testing isn't done on the remains found in Wilseyville in order to put this to rest. I realize there were a lot of remains found but who knows how many missing people could be...
Watched the JG episode of Vanished earlier. Does anyone know for sure if witnesses really did see 3 men abduct JG? I've read lots of stuff online and it's hard to tell what's accurate and what's not. I know Noreen Gosh's intentions are honorable but sometimes I wish we could hear more from LE...
I will also say this about my friend. He never felt like he belonged here and was actually thousands of miles away living in another state in the northwest when he passed away. I don't want to give out too much detail because his case is so unique that it would be somewhat easy to figure out...
This case makes me incredibly sad and I can only hope this man was eventually identified (or maybe not, as he wished). He reminds me so much of a friend who committed suicide a couple summers ago. It sounds exactly like something my friend would've written.
This friend struggled with...
Yes, I've searched both ways. All I've found is "Town House Restaurant and Lounge" in newspapers and the city directories from the time period. I haven't found anything with it spelled "Towne." It could be a different "Towne House Lounge" I guess but it must not have lasted long if it is.
Well, you may need to scratch what I said earlier about the location of the Town House Lounge. I checked the city directories today for 1979 and 1980. Neither of them list the Town House Lounge. However, it is listed in the 1976 directory at 114 Railroad St. Yet, in 1979 114 Railroad St. is...
I've found the Town House Lounge in newspapers all the way back to 1966 at 114 Railroad St in Downtown Hburg but the last ad I could find was in 1976 and the address was 112 Railroad St. (not sure if that's an error or if they moved a building over).
This makes sense because this is the road...
I'm somewhat familiar with the area and the houses are pretty spaced out. The Sun Herald said the location was 1/2 a mile west of County Farm Road on an unpaved access road to power lines off Gulf Haven in a heavily wooded area. I suspect it's this road (where the dot is) but I'm not 100%...
Are you sure? Because I can think of 4 from the last few months just off the top of my head. They were even back to back, if I remember correctly.
Mississippi is definitely a dp state!
It's about an hour depending on how fast you drive. It's the last place I would've looked for her unless I knew the bf new the area. I would've never guessed it was her when they first announced that they'd found a body.
