It goes both ways. There have been some theories on here that could help the defense and some that could help the prosecution. Either way, without supporting evidence, they are just theories.

I have a hard time believing that Casey showed up at a house where she doesn't live at anymore, borrowed a shovel and started removing bamboo from the yard. Especially considering she was hiding the fact that her daughter was "missing" from the people who live there.

What about the possibility of the child being the result of and affair Casey had with a married man? The police could have cleared him and are not releasing his name to prevent the public scrutiny and embarrassment it would cause his family.

The police contacted the women who filled out the card and she denied knowing Casey. Also, Casey didn't recognize her when they showed her a picture.
