Paralyzed from the waist down. Heavily medicated at the time, which obviously did not help at all. Presumably still medicated to the hilt which may explain the emotionless affect, the blank stare, etc I'm no psychiatrist but I can't imagine how she could ever recover her mental health going...

So they had "pretrial status conferences" two years ago and still no trial?! And this is not even California, where cases like this can run 5-7 years before a jury is seated. Dear Lord, bring justice back to the court system, swift and sure!

Do we know what happened to his son who had the rare disease? There's speculation that he may have had numerous Mormon priesthood blessings for healing. Is he still alive?

She is also careful to say when she is purely speculating. A very good source though. The facts so far lead one to think he was very angry at the Mormon church. We hope to know more about his specific reasons as the investigation proceeds.

Trial set to begin on 10/20/25. A ray of hope. I've seen this many times here in Los Angeles so am fully prepared for more years of delaying tactics. Really, the courts are incredibly broken here. It's a scandal. We'll see what happens...

Very frustrating but par for the course. Court records are very hard to find in many jurisdictions. Inmate location searches are easier but tell very little beyond "next court date". Media moves on quickly so there's no coverage at all until trial, which can be 5-7 years after arrest.

The insanity defense is already in full swing. Don't interview this monster in jail! Don't coddle him and treat him like a victim! But it's probably too late. He'll be confined to a hospital and released after a few years. /rant over
