Another reason pointing to them being charged as adults is that the D.A.'s public statement is still up on the internet. I would imagine that would be removed if their case was rolled back to juvenile court.
I just don't know how to access Philadelphia court records.
There used to be some discussion of them on some internet chat forums. They were both varsity football players at Lincoln High in Philadelphia before they apparently turned to gangbanging. Now all mention of them seems to have been scrubbed. Weird.
I give up at this point. Life is too short and...
Preliminary hearing was postponed in January, THREE YEARS AGO, then nothing after that. Zero.
I can't believe a heinous murder like this would be suddenly rolled back to juvenile court, especially after both suspects were named by authorities and their backgrounds widely discussed publicly.
I...
The officer died almost three months later. Murder charges were upheld in 2025 but I don't have any more info on the court process.
Philly officer dies more than 2 months after being shot in Kensington – NBC10 Philadelphia 'He will never, ever be forgotten': Officials remember Philly officer...

My fear is that five years from now, we'll be discussing this in the Cold Cases forum. It's a mind bender for me and my brain is exhausted.
God bless Nancy, wherever she is...
I don't know about you folks, but I'm getting really tired of this Sheriff.
What a piece of work. Irritating and obnoxious are words that come immediately to mind.
Poor Nancy. God bless and keep her, wherever she is.
If the defense puts KR on the stand, expect the fake waterworks along with angry confrontations with the prosecutors on cross.
She's a real piece of work.
Judge has to be careful with this phone call. Defense might have a point that they can't examine the person on the other end of the line. Seems like a good issue for appeal.
Not a lawyer, just speculating.
So I'm looking at the latest headline, Kouri's boyfriend crying on the stand?!
This is like a bad soap opera, except an innocent man was killed.
I'll be glad when this is over and she's sent away.
I think what's important here is she not get out, whether it's prison or a mental hospital. I don't want her to have another kid and kill that child.
Am I being heartless here?
This case has greatly upset me.
