A big deal is being made now of the fact that an arrest warrant has just been issued. It may have been answered before but, What additional powers does LE gain through the warrant that they wouldn't have otherwise?
Apparently all but 14 years of his 30-year sentence in 2015 was immediately suspended, I have no idea why

Gotcha, but I would hope the definition might be different in news reporting from real estate advertising as it might affect the perception of the wealth of the individual which might go toward motive. Just my thoughts.
Would it be too much to decide this case just based on the facts? What purpose does bringing in these drawings serve other than to play on the emotions of the jury. I hope the state has more pertinent evidence than this.
I am somewhat dismayed at the lack of media coverage of these...
I had no idea that this hearing had been scheduled or why there is no news story on the first day's precedings. Expect there will be more news shortly.

It now appears that the trial will not be until next year.
Hello all, its been a while, but of course there has been no news.
Here is a tidbit. Guy Heinze's younger brother is now in trouble with the authorities. Really nothing to do with the mobile home murders, but an excuse to bump the thread...
Victory for Heinze. Judge resolves to try the case this year. 1000 or so items of evidence. Many can't be tested until the defense obtains a DNA expert because the evidence will be consumed in the testing. Defense is in no hurry...
I don't want to start an argument, but can you support that?

Apparently, Mr. Vigneri left private practice to join the Georgia Capital Defender in 2007. Reminds me of Martin Vail in the William Diehl...
Welcome yosande. You have obviously done a thorough job reading through the thread and are asking the same questions that I and many of us had. Hopefully answers to come.
