That's a good question. I wonder if LE has went through all of the photos he had to see if they are in there?

For me all of those "sightings" come off as false information to throw LE off what really happened.

Sad that the family was abused by people calling with crazy theories and no help.

Sounds like he is still a predator.

That's a long walk to school and it is right by Highway 101. Someone could have taken her and would be miles down the road before anyone noticed.

I agree. Did they even try and get a fingerprint off the scrabble tiles? It seem like FPD didn't do much because they chalked it up to a runaway. Which they always did the 80's

The article that is posted said that they were retesting items for DNA. Hopefully they can get the suspect and find her son. Losing a child is a nightmare and not knowing I just can't imagine.

If it was my kid he would end up talking soon after being released.

Is it possible with advancements in DNA that the backpack could be tested? This case is such a dead end on most fronts. I hope the family can put pressure on law enforcement.

Why Prosecutors make a deal without the person giving up the body is beyond me. Same with sentencing. If they want any leniency then give up the body. For me.........if it was my daughter they would be much safer in Prison.

And the fact that they were construction workers adds other elements to hiding the body. Was anyone working on the ground level or basement pouring concrete? Construction workers also use industrial size dumpsters that hold tons of debris.

NM Missing/Murdered - linked to West Mesa?

With advancements in DNA hopefully they can solve these cases, though I believe Montoya is the killer.

Very vague on details which might point to the opinion that she doesn't want to be found. Hopefully she is alive.

The guy is a monster and it sounds like LE dropped the ball big time and so did the judicial system with him killing the first person.
