My brother served his mission in San Diego and happened to serve in the same ward as some Abaroas (I believe that it was Robbie's ward) and he said that he couldn't even pick out who she was because she was inactive. Just a little odd considering that they plaster themselves all over Mormon...
What great new coverage and news. I've been out of the loop for a little while and it's great to check in here and see that there's been a revival in the media. I sure to hope that it finds its way to Utah. Single women need to be warned about this guy.
Do you hear those sirens, Raven...
Speaking of M&Ms and ice cream.....I've been munching on "ogre" sized peanut M&Ms all day. Gotta love that. And...has anyone tried the new Creme Brulee flavored ice cream from Ben and Jerry's---absolutely addicting.
Oh, I would have loved to had been a fly on Raven's wall the day the FBI agent introduced himself. I bet Raven was about to s#@* himself. Wonder if he had his story straight?
This reporter has actually reported this wrong. It was actually two men from church. Right? Someone correct me if I'm wrong. They are supposed to come visit in pairs. They are called home teachers. They are given a few families in the church to visit and to make sure the family is doing...

Just going to vent for a second.
This is the front cover of the latest People magazine. Jennifer Wilbanks did such a disservice for Janet and her case. This should be Janet on the cover--or Janet should have been able to have had her day in...
I completely agree with you JG. It probably wouldn't have been much. But for him to donate money with an attached clause ("be sure they say JMA") is pretty unphilanthropic.
He's always got a reason for what he does. This time donating money was to make sure his surname was on the bracelets.
I didn't believe for one second that it was Raven's idea to make bracelets.
I'd be curious to know how much he "donated" to have them read JMA. I guess money will get you what you want in this world.
This is some information that I just found out from another alum.
There was a dinner for Janet (which, amazing Raven attended) and the former coach opened up the floor for memories and Mr. Abaroa got up and shared a few (boy would I have loved to be there and seen the stillness in the room)...
Wouldn't that be breaking his pattern? Oh, if they're not married there's no life insurance policy. Guess he's got to marry her, get the policy, and then kill her.
And while I'm on the subject....
I think of Hamlet and King Claudius. There's a scene where Claudius is trying to repent for killing his brother, taking over his throne, and stealing his wife. He wonders if there's repentance for murder. And all of that good stuff. Hamlet walks in as...
Plus, I'm sure he's been sure to paint himself the quintessential Mormon boy.
I wouldn't be suprised if they pray and read scriptures together. Wonder if they've visited the temple too?
Excuse me, I'm feeling the urge to BARF!!!
Did you all really think that he wouldn't get married again? Come on! He's got to sully someone else's good name with credit card debt and ebay schemes then kill her off too. I can't believe that a young woman would marry a 27 year-old, part-time bike shop employee!! Seriously, how can a...
Now did anyone watch the video link to the story? I'm not sure how to post it here.
There were two thick file folders just brimming with information that the interviewee said might help solve the case.
Sweating now, Raven?
Those pesky computers, right Raven? I think someone is getting pricked in the conscience and they are turning you in....what "friend" could keep that seceret forever?
Hi, SES!! Missed your posts. Welcome back!!
I agree, this is such an odd thing. Did he all of a sudden start thinking about that baby walking around? Probably hungry? Probably looking for hugs and kisses from mommy?
Nail the perp to the wall!!
Geez, this is so sad! I would really like to know how far along in her pregnancy she was--was it noticable? or would only those close to her have known about it?
I completely agree that it's really fishy that the husband was "out of town" at his mother's house. Sounds like someone trying to...
I agree with you, Jersey. I do think that if LE is giving the family the run around, then it's time to take this case to the media. I think that if the media did get involved--bugging LE as they enter and leave work, calling until they get answers, etc.--this would put pressure on them. I...
