    GUILTY UK - Joanna Yeates, 25, Clifton, Bristol, 17 Dec 2010 #17

With there being no proof he was in the flat, I don't find that entirely surprising: a) It was a bitterly cold night - even if he removed an outer jacket & scarf he would have still been wrapped up very warm, e.g. socks, shoes, trousers, shirt & jumper, possibly a blazer-type jacket as well...

I think this is true - I think that's what he did with the sock. Certainly easier to explain away than a pair of ladies knickers that his girlfriend would recognise as not hers.

Yes, absolutely, but I think VT saw himself as superior to society and law and not bound by it, as opposed to not belonging to it as many 'geeks & loners' may feel. I think he is a dangerous individual who thought he was too clever to get caught, and I think he has committed other crimes and...

I also agree that the mention of Aspergers may be misleading. We do not know at this moment what if any mental health or developmental disorders VT has, so to mention any is, to my mind, inappropriate until we know more. Also, other than on these boards I have seen no mention of Masonic...

GUILTY UK - Stuart Walker, 28, found murdered, Cumnock, Scotland, 22 Oct 2011

Please note that an arrest has been made in connection with this case. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-15490609 Please also note that initial reports of Stuart being found tied to a lamppost are incorrect. His body was found lying next to a road...

The most recent mug shot of VT bothers me, especially when compared to the previous photos. It's like he's not there anymore, like he's disconnected from the world and his situation. I wouldn't be surprised if some form of breakdown follows and he is certified insane. I feel this is not the...

I am glad that the right person is behind bars. Nothing can bring back Jo though. May she rest in peace now. I also feel sorry for Tabak's family and his girlfriend, he lied and manipulated them too.

Considering how cold it was at the time, and the reports of how frozen the body was, I'd very really surprised if decomposition processes had become so established. From wiki entry on decomposition (no pictures evident): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decomposition#Exposure_to_the_elements...

In general, you need identification which for the majority of countries means a passport. However there is a special agreement in place between the UK and Ireland, and any photographic ID can be used, such as a driving licence.

    GUILTY UK - Joanna Yeates, 25, Clifton, Bristol, 17 Dec 2010 #10

This non-red top newspaper reported that the door between the two bedrrom had been blocked up, and that this came from official floor plans of the property, which were lodged with the local council at the time of the renovations in the 1970s...

<mod snip> it's true, honestly! His bedroom in one flat and her bedroom in the other share the same partition wall. There was a plan of the two flats in a post on one of the other threads - and partition walls are usually much thinner than external walls, especially considering when the...

I have found a booklet entitled 'Foreign national prisoners' published by the HM Prison Service (http://www.hmprisonservice.gov.uk/adviceandsupport/prison_life/foreignnationalprisoners/) so I would imagine a Dutch national would serve a sentence in the UK once convicted. They can apply to...

From the wikipeadia section on extradition treaties: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extradition The usual extradition agreement safeguards relating to dual-criminality, the presence of prima facie evidence and the possibility of a fair trial have been waived by many European nations for a list...

Yes, they are, but I wasn't being literal, more...geographical...plus, all of those had been ruled out in this case (so far anyway).
