No idea sorry, I just saw this today on the news. Fort Worth are the officers in charge of the case, the car was found about 3 hours away (in the next county to me)

No Angeline, it would be easy and totally acceptable for police to say we have made an arrest, no more details will be given. Which is totally the norm in Australia and no questions would have been asked (by media)

BBM: That is a big call saying that it couldn't have been worse. How would you know? Define what could be worse? (no don't please) I think comparing cases is like comparing apples and oranges in any case. I am not sure many if any of the ABC reporters that covered this were emotionally invested.

The media were at the gravesite, we saw photos of the blue tarp. There were detailed descriptions of the coroners car coming (the white unmarked van) - media were there for sure. the media really worked well with Police, I am not sure it was a compromise or anything - just a case of "this is...

If chloroform was used that would have been, in my eyes, humane. The recipe is online and was used in a very well publicized case here last year. A weapon was used on Jill without a doubt, not to force her to his car - later. The press conference late at night, the comments made by reporters...

Totally agree, very well written piece by Patrick Carlyon. I was disappointed with the media reporting before the funeral but I have yet to see one piece written or film or photo that has made me cringe or be embarrassed, they did very very well. I saw two girls here walking in "crazy" shoes...

Snipped: What turns and twists do you see? I think arresting a guy within a week is huge, everything seemed to go to plan for LE. Saturday: Jill reported missing - searches start Sunday: More searches, Homicide group called in Monday: CCTV footage collected and handbag found Tuesday...

The neighbour saw two cars pull up, not police cars. No calls were made to police about Jill missing until Saturday afternoon.

Yes that happens too but they have said they are not looking for other people, and they wouldn't attend a private funeral for friends and family only - if they were interested in anyone there they could have got a list. They were there to pay their respects. I noticed in the photos a couple of...
