    Bullying at work

Last person who tried got himself fired. They side with management. I am looking for coping methods - I know I can't change this situation. Thanks very much, though.

    Bullying at work

I am posting this because I respect the opinion of the members of this board. I hope someone can help with this. It's a slightly different take on the bad boss thing. My boss really does not like me; he's pretty bad in a roundabout way. A rather benign example - I will ask for something...

Pedophile Ring Investigation by FBI and US Postal Service

I always suspected this. Just too many unexplained facts -- 1) When he was an assistant coach, in 1978, he starts his own foundation, one that is extremely well-funded. I mean -- I can't do this, I'd be going around scrounging for money, begging, hat in hand. But, not our Jerry, starts the...

Penn State Sandusky Trial #11 (Verdict - GUILTY!)

I understand how many want Sandusky to get a taste of his own medicine, but I don't want to see him raped or otherwised harmed in prison. We are a civilized society or we are not. Prisoners have rights - rights against cruel and unusual punishment. A prison environment where this can happen is...

ID ID - Lonnie Jones, 13, Orofino, September 1951

This is my thinking, too. Someone familiar with the area - now local to me a city girl, means the city. So perhaps I shouldn't say non-local, implying not from Orofino. It can be someone from the surrounding area, who picked up carnies at the state fair -- and was startled to find out he...

ID ID - Lonnie Jones, 13, Orofino, September 1951

Thanks, kline, coming from you this means a lot. I have feeling that it all happened on HWY 12 -- there's not that much time if the information we have is correct. Still, poor little guy, whatever possessed him to start walking alone at night.

GA GA - Mary Shotwell Little, 25, Atlanta, 14 Oct 1965

Such an interesting case --- here are my thoughts -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think that the killer was from Charlotte and the events were triggered by her wedding in Charlotte six weeks earlier. 1) Mary knew her killer, not as...

ID ID - Lonnie Jones, 13, Orofino, September 1951

As mentioned earlier in the thread, Lonnie was living with his grandmother and probably born out of wedlock. And, some comment about "him raising himself." I think this means that no one really looked after him. I think that he engaged in high risk behavior, being on his own, etc...

ID ID - Lonnie Jones, 13, Orofino, September 1951

This is so interesting that I had to share my theory .... I think Lonnie left the fair at closing -- say around 11 PM; by this time, he had somehow lost track of anyone who could give him a ride to his small, out of the way hamlet. The latest he could have eaten would be around 10 PM...

    Deceased/Not Found CA - Sierra LaMar, 15, Morgan Hill, 16 March 2012 #7 *A. Garcia-Torres guilty*

Maybe it was a message. To me it says she was abducted and abused. A way of terrifying her family and neighborhood. JMHO

    Deceased/Not Found CA - Sierra LaMar, 15, Morgan Hill, 16 March 2012 #7 *A. Garcia-Torres guilty*

I think that he wouldn't touch the clothes, so he had her disrobe and put them in the purse. Later he picked up the purse with gloves and hid it. She didn't hide -- just packed it.

    Deceased/Not Found CA - Sierra LaMar, 15, Morgan Hill, 16 March 2012 #7 *A. Garcia-Torres guilty*

I feel the same way. It's a particularly frightening thing because it says "She's abducted and naked." Just terrorizing the family.

    Deceased/Not Found CA - Sierra LaMar, 15, Morgan Hill, 16 March 2012 #7 *A. Garcia-Torres guilty*

Good point. Since I, too, believe they were meant to be found, the perp probably forced her to fold them and put them in the bag.

    Deceased/Not Found CA - Sierra LaMar, 15, Morgan Hill, 16 March 2012 #6 *A. Garcia-Torres guilty*

I think that the bag is a message from the perp. It wasn't that well-hidden, so it was either a red herring, or a message saying -- she's gone. A few more things - 1) As someone mentioned, her makeup, wallet and other teenage stuff was not with the purse. Coupled that with the fact the...

    Deceased/Not Found CA - Sierra LaMar, 15, Morgan Hill, 16 March 2012 #6 *A. Garcia-Torres guilty*

Thank you all for your opinions, here's mine. 1 - Sierra vaguely knew her abductor and was surprised to find him waiting for her at the end of the driveway and accepted a ride to school. 2 - As soon as he made the turn way from the school, she panicked, tried calling someone. He took the...

I am talking about cleaning the car; changing their stories, etc. I understand they wanted the As on their side -- but, really, come on, these people are capable of anything. Bring in obstruction, would have clarified to the jury the clean car, lack of evidence, doing anything for their daughter.

We all saw it as he couldn't pull the trigger on the molestation charges; but he demeanor made it seemed like he didn't want to talk about something terrible. So the innuedo/insinuation was there.

All the rebuttal focusing on impeaching Cindy. They should have let it rest -- it may only highlighted that the mother was willing to lie for her child; thus, she was not 100% convinced KC was responsible for CA's granddaugher's death.

Here's something we thought was a defense mistake - when CM asked about Casey being handcuffed. We though it was mistake because it would bring in the check charges, but guess what, the Judge's ruling was narrow and allowed in a snippet of information related to her handcuffing to go on record...
