I'm surprised LE couldn't locate David sooner. If LE did a thorough job of searching, then they should've been able to find him. That area around the time of David's disappearance was open, flat and crops had been harvested already. Also there had been no snow on the ground.
I agree with the comfortable jeans, that I could believe. However, most responsible guns owners wouldn't carry their handgun in a their pocket, lol, they carry it in a holster made specifically for that particular firearm.
One thing that strikes me as "off" with DS that evening is he asked for different jeans with deeper pockets. Why? He obviously didn't carry his cell phone nor his wallet in his pocket when driving so why would he need larger/deeper pockets? Was he meeting up with someone to buy something and...
We have to remember that DS was reported to LE as a missing person possibly due to a medical emergency. If LE rolls up and does not initially see signs of a struggle or any blood, they probably thought there's no reason to take fingerprints. Do I agree? No, but Idk if Sac County deputies are...
According to his wife Sarah, this was normal for David to carry a large sum of money for the week. Sometimes truck drivers get a diesel discount if they pay with cash.
Can someone clear something up for me. When the friend nearly ran into David's truck that morning, did the friend report it to the police at the time? Also, was the truck facing north when the friend seen it? And was the truck found in the same position when LE eventually found it? I'm only...
As more information comes out, my thoughts have slightly changed. I believe self harm shouldn't be ruled out. Nor should the walking away theory. What doesn't really make sense is if David self harmed, where is he? If he walked to a barn, they probably would've found him since apparently they...
I finished watching the interview with David's wife and it's pretty much everything we already know. I'm guessing he did not get fuel at the mile marker 126 truck stop because she says in the interview that Dave is on his phone and also looking around his truck on the outside of it in the video...
I agree! This is my opinion but besides being late to load in Eagle Grove, was he also late for someone waiting for him? I hate suggesting another woman or possibly drugs, but no other scenario fits.
David was taken, wasn't robbed because his cb radio and wallet are accounted for. His Semi and...
I think the truck driver on tik tok is lying. LE has said that David never stopped at Sparkys truck stop. Idk why that driver would lie, maybe to get attention? I wonder what is going on with the reward? The page of Jake, head of the volunteer search group, has been silent about David's case the...
This is strictly my own opinion but what was David doing before he arrived in Eagle Grove to pick up the piglets. According to LE timeline, he left home at 7 in Wall Lake. According to Google maps, from Wall lake to Eagle Grove is approximately 1 hr 27 minutes. He also showed up late and last to...
<modsnip: quoted post was snipped> Another thing that just came to my mind. David's cell activity after he left the truckstop. It showed he made it to the intersection where he should've turned left...but he turned right, going North. I'm curious if he turned his cell phone off or if it ran out...
That too but I just assumed that since they have video footage LE would've included that in their timeline. Also, Sparkys truck stop is 24 hrs and only 28 minutes (30 miles) away from the marker 126 truck stop. Unless David was extremely low on fuel.
I'm curious about why David stopped at a closed truck stop for approximately 16 minutes. Maybe he didn't realized it was closed or maybe he made a phone call or texting.

From the article, it sounds like multiple items were found in the ditch near David's truck. It does not specify what other items, the article only mentions his winter coat.
I'm not for sure but I doubt he ran out of fuel initially since he was just near the Sparkys truck stop, he could've stopped and got some diesel if he was low. Also, if I'm not mistaken, don't most semi's have a backup tank or a duel diesel system? I know when my dad drove truck, he did.

According to this latest article, his truck was turned off. It does not specify if the keys were...
This case leaves me scratching my head. I'm truly perplexed on what could've happened to this man. Without alot of information to go on or an official timeline from LE, idk what else can really be said but theorizing. The only scenarios that make sense in my mind:
1) He was taken due to a debt...
