Foul play crossed my mind too. IMO, based on her clothing and seemingly well nourished, she doesn't look like a transient. I'm very surprised she isn't identified yet.

I was looking again at the UID images on NAMUS. I accidentally magnified them somehow and noticed a good size laceration and other surrounding marks to her neck. Yikes!

I was looking around for info on this MP. I thought she seemed like a match as you suggested. I was surprised to find her funeral information. Apparently she died on June 17th, but must not have been found until late July...

I would like to know who owned the gun that she used? If it wasn't registered to her, then to whom? I also wish her other notebooks and notes would be made public. Something more to go on to decipher her notes for clues.
