Oh I know. I’m autistic and couldn’t read analog clocks until I was 12. Digital clocks I had no problems with-I may not have had a grasp of what the time meant, but I was still able to read the numbers.

When my sister was almost 2, she pushed a chair up to the stove, turned a burner on and burned her hand. My dad just happened to step out of the room for a moment when this occurred. It happened so fast.
There was no national/federal/stat holiday on that Wednesday. It was a PD (professional development) day. School was out for students, but teachers still went in. Not every school in the country had one that day.
So April 29 would’ve been the last confirmed sighting of the children by someone other than the parents? It would appear that they did go to school on Tuesday that week.
Yep, that’s how it’s done in my area too. 911 transfers you to the appropriate unit.
My sister had to call 911 earlier this year, and the dispatcher asked if she needed, fire, police, or ambulance.
