Makes me sick that less than a month ago she was sharing a Facebook post about Ta'naja Barnes a 2 year old who was murdered by her abusive Mom earlier this year. So obviously she knows a child can die from abuse? Is that what she was working towards? Horrible woman!!
My thoughts as a nurse and former social worker about the hospital not calling DCFS is that this hospital needs to be made an example for mandated reporters that you HAVE to call no matter what you think or don't think happened or whether or not you think someone else already reported it.

Just came across this thread thank you for posting. I am the same age as Stephanie and Nick and from Littleton too. Their murders so close after Columbine shootings were devastating to the community and even more hurtful were the rumors that they were involved in drugs and killed over drugs...
So he only lived 2 miles away from the Celis's and was a convicted sex offender and wasn't looked at until he led them to he just body?! I'm horrified! I'm sure he killed her within hours of kidnapping her but what if LE had known he was a sex offender and been at his home the morning she was...
LE says the suspect is between 18 and 40. I haven't followed this case much but just watching the video I feel like his clothing, walk and voice make him seem closer to 40 or even older than 40, his jeans, jacket and hat seem like clothing a more middle aged person would wear.
I'm sure your right. Andrew Golden was also only 11 when he and his 13 year old classmate killed 5 people at their middle school, and Andrew was released on his 21st birthday. He would have been released at 18 but was charged with federal weapons charges so he could be held till 21.
From the only picture I've seen he definitely has some odd facial features and ears, without more pictures it's difficult to tell but I would guess he is not neurotypical and probably has some sort of syndrome whether that's fetal alcohol or something genetic. I worked as a social worker at...
But how would the Mom know the school rules? She was going to enroll her daughter at the school so she wouldn't have known what rules this particular school had until at she enrolled her daughter and was given information and rules.
So if the DNA is a match Suzanne's brother Phillip was never missing or kidnapped by Floyd, but was actually given up for adoption by Sandi and she never bothered to tell LE? I feel like the DNA will be a match because the adoptive Mom says she knew Sandi and had worked with her.
If it wasn't for the underwear I would be on board with the emergency responder theory. As a nurse the underwear throw me off because I can't think of any situation where an emergency responder would need to cut underwear off. I can see shirt and bea cut off for monitoring and pads to be placed...
My 4 year old has had dental xray done not sure if that's typical or not though? Although I don't think it would matter because between age 6 and 14 a child would lose all baby teeth and have adult teeth so I don't think a dental xray could be helpful.
I have followed Maggie's case closely from the beginning and believe that the Long's home was targeted for a burglary by someone who either knew the Long's or knew someone who knew the family and mentioned that they had lots of guns and valuables in the home. I think this was a well planned out...
Could not agree with this more! I used to work for DCF and always tell people to make a DCF report AND call 911 if they are concerned for a child's safety, the police can take a child into police protective custody until a case can go before a judge faster than DCF will investigate.
I agree seems like the Mother in cases like this, testify against the man they brought into their child's life and get an easy plea deal despite being the one who was responsible for their child's safety.
Could not agree more! I don't feel like there is anything else to be gained by LE or anyone talking to him. He wants attention no matter what form it comes in and he deserves none.
