Sorry if this has been posted before - but considering the random, weird, off topic posts - are any of you even aware of this confirmed report!???? Gerard Baden-Clay cheated on his late wife Allison by: By David Murray From: The Sunday Mail (Qld) May 20, 2012 12:00AM Reports Gerard Baden-Clay...

I actually LOL'd at that. We need a batman to help solve the case!

On second thoughts he did crash into/near a bus stop. So they might have.

Saliva testing tends to be front line "detection" as is your stock standard alcohol breath test. In order to quantify - they run a drug panel on either blood or urine. Based on drug metabolites etc etc. Thing is, if you eat poppy seeds, this comes up as opiates in a Urine Drug screen. And if...

Will depend on the testing. I'd say the physical exam would be over. But it's whether they've obtained the required samples. Just FYI: Link to QLD Forensic Services http://www.health.qld.gov.au/qhcss/qhss/default.asp Link about Autopsies in QLD...

Only when there are injuries/the police are required to attend the accident IIRC. Your usual nose-to-tail accident doesn't warrant a drug test. If the QPS had been engaged in a pursuit then yes. Could be wrong?

I haven't read this in any pharmacology literature/clinical trial papers. This is a subjective side effect. And often used as an excuse for bad behaviour.

They would need a warrant to test his blood/urine unless he volunteered. They would also need to have a warrant to subpoena his medical records/pathology results of any bloods they took. I doubt they did this. And I doubt he would have volunteered. But yes I've done drug screens and a typical...

My contact in the Forensic Branch has said that the body was in a horrific state of decomp (many seasoned officers were traumatised). They couldn't get Allison's prints to identify her.

Part of me wonders if QPS are dragging this out to crack the suspect. It's driving us all bananas, imagine what a non-sociopath suspect is feeling? Especially if there was some level of manslaughter. I have noticed in the most recent video of GBC at Indro, he looks like a man with the weight of...

Please lets not turn what was adult discussion into a flame-war train wreck of a thread that is just bickering and bs. This isn't 4chan.

My post was to try and move forward with discussion rather than rehashing the same old stuff. I can confirm that I am in fact one human being on the interweb and not a sock puppet. It's been a bit of slow media day. Just found this vid of the scout grounds search...

I agree, I would be nice to get confirmation from the police as to whether they've discounted the reports of screaming.

Good point Marly. Would be interesting to find out what those belongings were and if they were related to the case.

Can we move on from the following (at risk of boring the hell out of the rest of us who just want some facts): - Screams did not come from the Baden-Clay house therefore whatever was heard 3-4km's away was likely unrelated. Are we good on that one? - The showgrounds are in walking...

Just to clarify - they couldn't lift her prints from her own hands due to decomp. DNA analysis was used to formally ID the body. (Which in my mind means it is highly unlikely they will lift another person's prints from her) Also, there has been no mention of the neck.

I'm hearing that they didn't get prints off the body and COD is yet to be determined. This is upsetting. Just going to go on a rant now: The man needs to fess up. Now. We're all over it. Political Tangent Rant - I'm also sick of seeing the LNP support sticker in shots of one of the cars. IMO...

Long time lurker, first post :) Sounds like they've narrowed down time of death between 11:30pm and 4am? I'd say that would be one of the first things they'd be looking at...if at all possible given the state of Decomp. Insider info is that the body is in a _severe_ state and there were...
