Australia Samantha Murphy, 51, last seen leaving her property to go for a run in the Canadian State Forest, Ballarat, 4 Feb 2024 *Arrest* #10

I find it difficult to believe PS parents have moved out of state by choice. He is still their son and I would have thought at least one of his parents would have stayed in the vicinity to support him.

I honestly cannot understand why the church would be willing to spend that amount of money to represent a lowly apprentice electrician who has a questionable past. Im sure members of the church who make donations would not be expecting the funds would be used in this manner.

You would think that if anyone had the right to know the details of how a loved one died, it would be the family.

Could be ego but maybe he realises the less he says the harder it will be for LE. Why help them convict him? We don't know what evidence the police have but he may know. He may be thinking they don't have her body and what they do have might not be enough to convict him. He might think it in his...

It sounds strange. I cannot believe they all sat there for 30 hours and said nothing. LE didn't tell him why they knew it was him and he didn't deny any involvement. They just sat there and looked at each other. Weird. An awful lot of wasted time if they knew they were going to charge him anyway.

Apparently Snapchat is not one of those that can be retrieved. If the request is made very quickly and acted on immediately there has been some success but it isn't guaranteed.

So if, after sitting in remand etc for all that time before you eventually get to trial, you are then found innocent do you just have to suck it up and move on. All those months of no income along with the emotional stress is to be just forgiven. It seems unfair that a person's life would be...

I understand that phones will ping off a phone tower they are within range of but does anyone know if that just shows all the phones that were within that range, or the specific spot the was phone was located within that range.

The continued silence of PS regarding Samantha's body is making me wonder just what evidence LE do have. If it was something incontrovertible, eg. video from either a phone or dash cam, PS would realise there was no way around his guilt. But if LE are telling him we have been told about a...

This has been my thought. Young people seem to prefer Snap Chat. Another interesting feature of SnapChat is the ability to follow a persons location when it is accessed.

Fair enough. When they are on remand they should be presumed innocent and not treated like a criminal.

Sometimes an electrician is required to isolate the power so it is safe for the work to be carried out on the tower.

Or Samantha was fatally injured in an accidental collision between her and a motor vehicle. The fact that PS didn't call for help could lead to it being called a deliberate act.

I concur with your theory. I feel all those theorising about stalking and a preplanned attack are thinking too far into left field. I feel the reason that LE are calling it a"deliberate" act is the fact that he decided not to call for help when he knew this would lead to Samantha's death and...
