He can heal while he rots in prison awaiting the death penalty. Maybe I'm harse but God only knows what he did to at least two innocent women. He doesn't deserve my sympathy. What sympathy did he show his victims?
It is an a acronym for Forensic Anthropology and Computer Enhancement Services. I know this because I went to LSU and studied anthropology (historical archaeology). That lab is amazing and has done work all over the world. They are one of the best in the nation at reconstructing what victims...
Was it ever mentioned by LE? I seem to remember BW stating that she received a text message before leaving his house. Surely the LE know about it, but just don't want to talk about it. Only makes me more suspicious... if it was nothing but a text from one of her friends that were at Mel's, we...
I totally agree. Where I live in south Louisiana, I have actively looked for trucks matching the DWTIQ, and in several weeks, I've only seen one. I tried to get a picture of it on I-12 East in BR, near the Airline Highway exit. I almost wrecked trying to get a pic with my phone. Just my luck...
Nah, I would assume you live in the marsh! Just kidding. I've seen many models of the Mississippi re-routing and taking your town/city and mine (live in Iberville parish off LA-1). I also know what you mean about white trucks, but there aren't as many Chevy Silverado Z-71 four doors as there...
Yes, please. I'm watching Judge Jeanine right now and she is talking to the police detective involved in Brandy Hall's six year old case. I know the case is old, but he carefully laid out the information. There wasn't a question he didn't answer with as much info as he seemed to have. He...
Something I would seriously love to know is what the special K-9 units found as to where her scent ended along that route. You would think that it would give them a good indication as to where she was taken. However, I wonder how much this was affected by the fact that she took these roads...
I hope they are looking into everything. I lean toward her being abducted by:
a)Someone she'd met out that night or someone she recognized from school (possibly posing as a student stalking her/looking for someone like her). In these cases, she may have been more willing to hop in a truck...
That is really sweet. I always believed my paw paw who died when I was 9 years old watched over me when I was growing up. I even thought I saw him sitting a few rows behind us at a LSU football game the season after he died (he had a massive heart attack after a bad LSU loss). I still believe...
Probably true, but the statistics say that younger women are usually the targets of human traffickers. Likely many reasons for this, not the least of which the clients want "clean" women or virgins, younger girls are more likely to be this. I'm not at all saying anything about Mickey, I don't...
I also did many stupid things when I was younger. I was paranoid about opening my door to strangers, yet often went out and stayed out late only to decide to leave friends' houses for home at 2am-3am. One friend lived just down the street from one of DTL's victims, Carrie Yoder. I admit after...
It should definitely be looked into in younger endangered runaway cases, as slightly younger women are ideal prey for human trafficking. Mickey was a bit older and would have been much more difficult to get her to submit to such treatment. Not impossible, just not as easy.
Yeah, just saw that on wafb. It's still early, but I'm hoping it won't be much if we do get it. It could really mess with any water searches they had planned.
Thanks for clarifying that whole verified thing. I, too, am from the general area. However, I have no "inside" info. I can only provide information about south Louisiana and areas along I-10 from Lafayette to BR. I just wasn't sure what the verified thing meant, so I'm glad you let me know.
Agreed. They should want the case to remain on people's minds, just in case someone sees something relevant. Until the case is solved, they should want the public to be paying attention.
Unfortunately, I don't think you are wrong at all. I think the LE are in over their heads and have long since told the FBI they had this under control. From what I understand (limited knowledge) the FBI cannot take over a case unless certain circumstances are in place: possible serial killer...
Maybe you are right! Funny how they mention it again (after silence on the issue) right when they had people at Whiskey Bay searching. Now we are all arguing and talking about the DWTIQ instead of talking about what is really going on at WB!!!
