You do not have to have another form of ID to obtain a duplicate DL or ID...OMV has every DL/ID recipient's latest photo on computer and can pull it up in a matter of seconds using the name (and DOB if needed). I used to work for the OMV ;)

I would bet that they did and LE just hasn't commented on it...LE had their eyes on him for some time, but for how long? We don't have that info yet.

Gators are attracted to the smell of blood and animal remains, the more putrid & stinky, the better. They will eat ANYTHING...if a gator leaves leftovers, other gators will show up and finish it. A 12-foot gator can eat an entire adult deer.

Also worth noting: Whiskey Bay, the Atchafalaya Basin, Bayou Teche, and just about every other body of water around here is chock-full of alligators.

Good thinking! However, the exit right BEFORE Whiskey Bay, the Butte LaRose exit, will take you to a very heavily wooded, very desolate road.

A little info about Whiskey Bay: On I-10, there is an exit at Whiskey Bay...if you take the exit, you can get to a large parking area and a boat landing, both of which are located directly beneath I-10. I would think that he took the exit and parked his vehicle and THEN disposed of the bike...
