Whilst it's not something I'd do I can't bring myself to criticise a family who've been through an horrendous month and are expressing their grief as they know how
But, as you say, that's just me

That clears up the timing of when he was found. If Tenerife has anything like our air ambulance service it wouldn't take any time to mobilise the helicopter and winch up the body and searchers

I'm sure I saw a suggestion yesterday that they might have kept the discovery secret but I can't find the post now, the reporters on the scene are all saying it happened yesterday so I'm not sure that there's any kind of cover up.
I find it strange that the same thing was said about MM, I...
It has been reported that he was 20 minutes walk from where the phone last pinged I believe and that they are not disclosing where he was found although I'm sure some clever people might be able to work it out from what we know.
Thank you, I hoped above that a Spanish speaker would come along and help, that makes total sense to me.
IMHO suggestions of being thrown off a cliff don't stand up to any scrutiny, that would involve more than one person making a difficult trek into the mountains, the attacker(s) safely...
I read that too and assumed it was a clumsy wording meaning that he wasn't alive there at the bottom of the ravine for a long time. Literally it doesn't make any sense, I think they are trying to be reassuring to the family that he didn't suffer for a prolonged period.
I wonder if the autopsy...
I'm not on tiktok and didn't know that people were staging fake kidnappings (just assuming its from there as I haven't seen it on other SM), that's pretty messed up, what on earth would possess anyone to do that?
I'd say possibly a translation quirk, in the context we'd use it for rain falling I can see that there might be a falling from a height connotation here. Maybe a Spanish speaker could help

You'd hope but I think it's unlikely, maybe on here as members have a few more brain cells than in other places where all that will happen is that new tin hat theories will appear.
I don't have any specialist knowledge but I assume one doesn't need 10 fully intact fingers to take enough of a print to identify someone whose prints will already be on file. I mean they've done it so it was obviously possible.
I was wondering the same, did they have some extra information that led to the continuation of the secret searching? Otherwise it could have been a never ending task
Tnank you, so those were the dogs belonging to the Dutch team, they weren't the ones who found him, they just happened to start their search on the day the Spanish searchers found him, two separate groups. There weren't any dogs in the area Jay was found as far as any reports go
.I don't know if...
It would be understandable if they were, it's interesting that they were able to stop any hint of it getting out with so many people taking an interest
I wonder if MWT had the inside tack
