Have to be careful with articles. I had an interview with a reporter a few months ago about my recent heart transplant. The reporter made up some things that I NEVER said and embellished some things. Now I question things written by reporters. I don't know which things are true...
On the photo shared by Lonely Child, Thread 1, post #857, it looks like Devonte may have a filling. So maybe dental care was sought for the kids or maybe just sought for Devonte since he seems to be the favorite. Maybe it's just a shadow on his bottom molar...
Stationwagon never crossed my mind. I was thinking a child's wagon. Maybe because that was my favorite toy as a kid. I suppose that's one reason you can't always assume everyone has the same reference points.
Yes, I think that they may have crashed that same night and was not spotted until the next day. I also wouldn't be surprised if none of them changed clothes that entire trip. I'm not even sure if they took any bags/suitcases with them on the trip. It looks like they may have left the home in...
I did not think that it looked like Jennifer until an article mentioned that she was wearing those clothes when they removed her body from the van. The lady in the photos looks like she is much older than 38 years, in my opinion.
Yep, that's the sad reality. No matter when the abuse would have been reported, the outcome probably would have been the same. CPS would have left a card on the door and the family would have bolted.
Oh, hearing these kids sing "Good Things Comin'" brings tears to my eyes. Some of their quotes:
"I believe we all have good hearts."
"I believe we all have freedom."
"I believe in justice."

It's baffling. Jen and Sarah abused the kids on one hand and allowed things like piano lessons and amusement parks on the other. Maybe the two just didn't know how to discipline properly. Some parents believe in food deprivation and "spankings" as "good" forms of punishment. Especially...
They supposedly rejected the "free hugs" movement guy who wanted to mentor Devonte. They also rejected a fellow festival goer, who was also adopted, who wanted to help with the girls.
Can you imagine these kids whispering and secretly trying to hatch a plan to get food? Their lives had been reduced to scavenging for the most basic of needs with very healthy looking moms in the next room. Sad to even think about it.
