I worked in mental health for a long time. I had staff who did nails or hair and worked for us, as well. Many of my staff wore scrubs, even though they didn't have to. She might have 2 jobs. Sadly, it seems necessary for many people.

Oh no. South Louisiana has a horrible track record of witnesses being harmed. I reeeeeally hope she's ok. We need to have a way that these witnesses aren't required to testify or that a witness who goes missing or killed does not derail the trial.

Well. Jefferson Parish doesn't usually play. We are known to be tough on crime to deter the Orleans Parish crime from coming this way. If it was in Orleans Parish, I would be more worried about leniency. I hope (and think) she will have strict sentencing.
