Detective Girard worked with the Dallas County Medical Examiners office to obtain fingerprints of the deceased which he then transported to the Hill County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Division where Crime Scene Manager April Stoll was able to utilize the national Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) to obtain a positive fingerprint match that she manually confirmed as well.
The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Christopher Raul Morales from San Antonio, Texas. The Corsicana Police Department immediately made contact with officials with the San Antonio Police Department who notified the family members of Mr. Morales.
