What witness are you talking about? John didn't claim to have seen the whole thing from start to finish.

IMO, it sounds like TM died instantly. I have wondered if the bullet hit him in the heart.

On a web search I read that if the gunshot is very close, the victim's blood can be sucked back into the muzzle. It's called internal muzzle staining. If LE still has GZ's gun, they can test for this.

gxm: Absolutely true fact but not need in this case as GZ has admitted to shooting TM.

I'm awaiting the FULL autopsy report for a heck of a lot more answers!

It sounds like the witness doesn't know what went on, really. They only came in at the end of it, and don't even know who was where.

Well if this is the case that means it's either two things imo.

1. The police force is covering something up and Trayvon's race could be an issue.
2. They are just incompetent idiots.

Im leaning more with #2 as most police officers are incompetent.

before you settle on #2, search for information about the Sanford Police Department history. They and other Central Florida police have a very long history of not investigating crimes where blacks are the victims, especially when the perpetrator is white and has any kind of connections.

I was just thinking when something happens in an area and the area guards, or watchman don’t exert themselves which is most common.
The neighbors scream, "Those Guys" they don’t do much. But when you get one that is alert, they call him a racist.

But sadly videos are coming out that contradict some of what is coming from the GZ camp. And While I feel strongly that GZ did not just kill anybody, it is getting hard to understand his decision making process since he could have shot; but not to kill. I think the Police does have to answer - it may not be a crime at all you are right - but It did not have to happen GZ is overzealous.

How can this NOT be a crime scene?! A young man with killed - shot with a gun. That's a crime no matter how you slice it. And it needs to be investigated as such. IMO

Yeah, did anyone else note the disdainful tone of voice he used when he said "there was someone in the rain" as though being in the rain is in itself an obviously shocking and clearly suspicious act. :waitasec:

I've only went outside and confronted a neighbor one time. For good reason too.

Two little boys (7-9 years old?)were at the Lake, and everyone knows that a Lake in Florida is a Lake with Alligators, and they were throwing rocks and poking an alligator with sticks. Their mother sat back and laughed! So I did go outside and I told the mother that the moment that Alligator gets mad enough, he's going to come up and attack one of your children and then you are going to have the nerve to cry and shout that you want the animal destroyed. I walked back in, called the front office, told them what was going on and let them deal with it.

If I were unfortunate enough to own one of the homes in this development, I would GIVE it to the first person who would take it and get the hell out of there leaving NO forwarding address. There's going to be mountains of civil suits filed that will not need Perry Mason OR Matlock for staggering awards to the family of the victim.

No matter your opinion of the circumstances, this happened on the common grounds area of the complex. A man who the HOA called "Captain" of their Neighborhood Watch KILLED an unarmed young man.

Whatever the dollar amount of the civil awards may be, all deeded owners will receive a notice of special assessment containing the amount they will have to pay. It ain't gonna be pretty.
