My Dear. Thanks for your confidence in me. But, I am not an expert in ballistics and therefore wouldn't feel comfortable weighing in on exit and entrance wounds. I can generally guess, but until I see the reports, I would never hazard to say with any certainty what happened.

In this case eventually we will know, but guessing is just not my game.

As far as autopsies. And this comment is random.......

I hope everyone here realizes what they see on TV is not true to life. Ethically I don't feel comfortable detailing inaccuracies I'm reading from time to time. Just know that it isn't like you see on CSI shows. :what:

That bit about his breathing is also a whole bunch of carpola....since any EMT worth his salt knows the medical ABC's...Airway, Breathing, Circulation....your first duty is to make sure there is an unobstructed airway and that the pt can breath...That is standard, since if you can't breath or breath well then you could DIE....No EMT is going to clear him to go to the Police station for questioning if nasal swelling is impairing his breathing....I don't believe that for a nano second. IMO JMHO and stuff.

The video at the PD that night also disproves the claim GZ couldn't breath. I watched for signs of nasal swelling and GZ walked around much of the time with his mouth closed, no signs of gasping or any problem breathing through his nose at any point.

I have more trouble breathing through my nose on a moderate pollen day!

Yay! Good for him. It's about time someone from that side vocalized acknowledgement of Trayvon's parents loss.

I like him too. I also like Natalie Jackson who was very complimentary re: O'Mara. It's nice to see professional courtesy between counsel. The cynic in me wonders how long it will last, however.

I'm dying for a doc dump too because I too believed this would be manslaughter....but if they're smart they will gag and release nothing, I dread, absolutely dread a repeat of the last trial I followed from FL.

I think this was a big surprise too. But, she must feel there's a case. She doesn't seem like the type to charge a case to lose it. Time will tell.

That is a common technique instructed by attorneys....to make him appear smaller and less threatening or able to protect himself. Like having a client shave their shaggy beard or cut their hair. Or have a woman tone down a very blond hair color or make up to make her look more girl next door.....

it's been 44 days. not 21 days.

I was thinking that there might be some yellow bruising on his left side of his nose (right on pix)...

Comparing two photos of the noses (from mugshots) - I dunno. The nose looks different in the new mug shot but I can't tell if it's just from having a thinner face now.

A hearing in the case may be held Thursday, according to authorities and Zimmerman's attorney, Mark O'Mara. Sheriff Donald F. Eslinger said officials would determine whether Zimmerman would be held in the general inmate population...........

O'Mara said a bond motion hearing may be held Thursday in Seminole County. "I will be seeking his release," he said of Zimmerman. Corey said Zimmerman had the right to appear before a magistrate within 24 hours of his arrest.

"I think (Zimmerman) is troubled by the fact the state decided to charge him," O'Mara attorney told reporters Wednesday evening. "I think anyone charged with second-degree murder would be scared."

He said his client will enter a plea of not guilty..........

Zimmerman was alone Wednesday when he turned himself in to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's office in Jacksonville, said Joyce Dawley of the department.

I'm so relieved a charge with real meat on it has been leveled. But I shudder now to think of the amount of money the NRA is going to flood into GZ's defense fund. This has to be their worst nightmare....I fear getting justice for this teenager is going to be a monumental task when challenged by the lobbying efforts and financial backing of the NRA. Mustn't interfere with their bottom line---SYG supports their frontier mentality and they've put so much effort into fomenting people's fear......I'm so glad that the Martin's can go to bed tonight with the hope that their baby's death will not have been swept under the carpet. I just don't have much faith that in the end GZ will get his just desserts. He is already a martyr to many.

Do you know if they have been commenting on this case? Or do you think they are just staying in the background?

Ugh, I did watch. Same garbage he was spouting on Nancy tonight, just less of the "cuteness." He is going to ride out his 15 minutes as long as he can. Wish someone would go into his background, it's all public record and (IMO) he has similar ways of dealing with things as GZ. What an unlikable man, MOO.

I think this is the best thing I've ever heard Al Sharpton say:

I agree completely. The NRA has big money and I worry about juror bribery & tampering too, jmo.
