We were discussing Cindy's enabling behaviors not if they (Cindy and George) should have "seen this coming". I agree, nobody could see the murder of a child coming.

Actually, I think we were discussing Casey's lies and whether they were so outrageous that George and Cindy should have been suspicious.

True, but some of the lies are so elaborate and seem to have no purpose. For instance, Casey's entire fake relationship with Jeff H. Week after week he was supposed to meet with Cindy and George. Cindy prepared meals for him. Always at the last minute he was unable to come, and eventually he moved away to Jacksonville. What was that all about?

I think she wanted Cindy to believe she was settling into a permanant r/ship to get her off her back. That way CA wouldnt hassle her about going out all the time- KC could go out and hook up with a diff guy each week, and her mom would be happy to babysit Caylee because she was hoping JH and KC would eventually provide Caylee with a stable, 'normal' family life.

On the 3rd pg of the linked thread, there's a link to info showing Ryan P. to be incarcerated starting 11/30/2005 and not due to be released until 9/30/2010. Must be a different dude?

Huh, people were questioning him but he seemed pretty darn sure about it. I'm Sorry!

I didn't remember hearing the name either, her good friend had a different last name, although it starts with a P also. I read a link on another site that stated this guy was in jail, but the way the report reads it sounds like he is not. The call to him was on June 27 the same day that she calls BOA for a weather forecast...I thought calling for the weather forecast was weird too (not a normal thing she does and I can't imagine Casey being that concerned about the weather). This was the same day that she leaves her car at Amscot, but these calls occur around 8 pm. From what I understand the document states that around 2 pm, on the same day, her phone pinged in the area of this Ryan's known address (checked via DMV records). If anyone has a different take on it, please correct me. It's covered on page 4967 in the document linked below.

Maybe she was walking somewhere? We know she didn't have her car...

I dunno, to me (perhaps I have just become cynical and doubting), wouldn't you begin to catch on after awhile, Chilly, that your (not yours personally) daughter is lying about things? Don't you start wondering what the truth is? How many dinners do you cook for this guy who just doesn't ever show? I guess I really do just come from a different world because I'd have caught on and then DONE SOMETHING looong before she stole even $1,000 of my money, let alone $45,000 and me still denying it and covering up for her. And still, even after THAT, after stealing all that money... here they are once again covering up for and denying perhaps much worse.

 ITA! KC has committed the ultimate sin against CA and still CA wants KC to love her and signals to her during the motion hearing. It is sad. A travesty.

No, my dear, if they should have "caught on".

I agree with you. And I think it goes along with the type of neighbor kid you might catch red-handed standing near your property allowing their dog pee on your lawn only to answer to you by saying, "That's not my dog."

Wth? I'd expect a normal kid without any serious lying habit to say (or lie), "Oh, sorry. I couldn't stop him before he did it."

It seems very clear from all the interviews that Casey's problems started when, or just before, she got pregnant. Shirley said Casey was never a behavior problem, never got into trouble. Casey's school friends described her as a popular happy person. We know that she was working and, apparently being somewhat responsible before Caylee's birth. I think the stealing, lying, etc all seems to have come on suddenly. No wonder Cindy and George didn't know how to handle her, they didn't know this new Casey.

I don't have a link but I remember Lee stating Casey was stealing from her parents when she was in high school. This resulted in some pretty bad arguments between Casey and her parents. Lee said he didn't want to get in the middle of their fights (I'm paraphrasing). If you believe Lee, Casey was stealing long before she had Caylee.

What is most sad, IMO is that Cindy would want it that badly. No matter the conditions, she would not even care, she would sell her house out from underneath herself as long as she can have Casey back. MO

Certainly not your fault.
I'm reminded of the "drug dealer type" that KC was supposed to have called from jail, only to find that she had let another inmate use her pin# to make a call.
WTH knows what this is about... I guess we'll know when they want us to.

Does anyone understand this interview w/ Timothy M., at the bottom of this linked document. He is asked about some things found on Suburban, Sears Card and a water bottle. TM denies seeing the water bottle before but does admit to prior ownership of a Sears card...I am just wondering if this might be the Gatorade bottle that had a syringe inside ?

I'd like to know how the wallet got from the burned house to the crime scene?

Could some one have ransacked the garage since the family was having to stay somewhere else?

But why steal the wallet and then toss it just around the corner? (no cash in wallet?).

I wonder if they tried to use any of the cards (Sears) and if there is a record of this?

still so many ?s with no answers

I believe one of them, Kronk or Dean, killed the snake and took it home.

According to those guys, the snake was already dead when they found it. It is a bit odd about the snake. I saw a picture of it. It's certainly dead, but it appears to have no injuries - not roadkill or any obvious mortal wounds caused by a person. The only thing I noticed was that it was somewhat thin, as if it hadn't eaten anything for a while.

I am really confused and trying to understand the incident report in section 5 of the docs on page 13. I am also having a hard time reading the top of it. It says 'Major sex crimes' in one of the fields and also 'homicide'.

Under that most of it is blocked out but it says before that under narrative " On December 11,2008 , I responded to the Orange County Jail and contacted Lt. Tammy Uncer "

The 2 witnesses are from Orange County Corrections. Could this be the incident with KC and JB? Any thoughts of what else it could be?

When they taped her reaction to the "body" found?

Drug overdose?

In TM's testimony LE says they found his Sears card and wallet "on Suburban Dr", but the first thing that popped in my mind was thinking I read somewhere that LE found a Sears or JCP card belonging to some unknown guy in KC's wallet when they confiscated it. I remember wondering prior to this testimony, how was KC signing for a credit card with a man's name on it?

Drug overdose?

It's been talked about before. I don't know if that is a reasonable explanation. The snake is an Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake. They only eat live food, and it is mainly small rodents.
