Maybe in response to this email?
* Emails between Orange County Sheriff's Office investigators and the a researcher at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Most of them deal with questions about the evidence collected from Casey Anthony's car, including chemicals showing the presence of a decomposing human and chloroform. One email is particularly interesting. The Oak Ridge researcher wrote:

I try very hard not to second-guess people since I am well aware that I know very little of what is really going on in an investigation, but I think the early release of the chloroform data was a mistake. Since I am saying nothing to anyone outside my group, I am now getting criticized for other reasons and feel that it might be time to back away from this work. I will of course get the next report out to you and Yuri as promised as soon as I can. On a final note, some of the products we have seen include Pinene and Limonene. This could point to a (possibly) shallow marshy area with decaying vegetation. Is there such an area anywhere near where the car was found? Is it possible to get a topo map of the area? Would it be possible to speak to the individual leading the search from Necrosearch?"

He wants a map of the area where the car was found, not the body.

Also, on the meaning of the whole paragraph, I really don't get what he means about second-guessing people.
-the early release of the chloroform data is a mistake?
-I am saying nothing to anyone outside my group?
-I am now getting criticized for other reasons?
-and feel that it might be time to back away from this work?

These statements are really vague.

What do you all think?

BBM
Pinene and Limonene are the terpins that Leonard talked about several times on the NG Show. He said the terpins on the Pontiac would match the area where Caylee was dumped.

Now that the 3-D animation has been released you can see the incline that has been spoken of before right by the road that slopes down towards the trees. Makes you wonder if she could have been tossed from closer to the road and rolled ( horrible to think or even say) and just landed by the tree. :twocents:

Bold mine. Please tell me this wasn't bologna. Isn't balogna made with pork byproducts?

Even if so, it was an empty container inside a trash bag...not enough to cause the levels of the chemicals that were found.

It would not matter since it was cooked and cured pork.
Only raw pork (like a dead pig) that is untreated could possibly resemble human decomp in analysis.

You really see just how close she was to the road with the last 3D part. Wow.

I was thinking the same thing. Also regarding the email about the swampy area. This area SHOULD have been drained. I have no idea why that was not done.

ITA! No matter how many pictures, animations, maps, etc. I see, I still can't believe she was that close to the road.

Yep.

Bologna is full of preservatives to keep it from breaking down.
