She was probably taken to Hank Sr.and Lisa's trailer that night,If i remember correctly they were at the hospital..

But he worded his response very carefully. He said that no one was in custody due to the investigation into Haleigh's disappearance (paraphased). So, to me this could mean the POIs are in custody due to a different reason.
 
I really think, especially after this presser, that 3 poi's are sitting in jail, and the 4th who I believe helped to dispose of Haleigh, will join them soon.
 
exactly doc f... he just said the rumor about an arrest of someone being imminent was false.. once again like in the somer T. case we have several possible suspects already safely behind bars.. I am sure any other persons of interest that are not already incarcerated are being watched very closely
 
This man's strength is amazing, if only RC had a fourth of Mr. Hardy's strength Haleigh would still be alive, so sad!!!

Even though Hardy didn't release specific info, I think what he did say was huge. We now know they are certain her body is in there, that she probably died there, that Joe has an atty, that MC and crew are talking and that an arrest will be soon. We also know that he has vowed to not give up this search until he finds her.

I actually feel good about this presser today.
 
I think we will see things breaking soon. I don't know that she has been found that something there leads them to believe she has gone to be a beautiful angel.
 
i just hope she was not brought there alive...that is too horrifying to contemplate...

I don't know what to make of all of this except that JO is not ruled out but they must not have anything to charge him with either...the term "lawyered up" has special significance to LE...he stopped talking, in other words...

I think he confirmed it was Misty in a way, who is the source, when she said she now realizes she is in trouble...

Hardy said he's confident calling this a homicide investigation, and some "people are starting to talk" and cooperate, though he did not say who he was referring to.

The sheriff said of Misty Cummings, the last person to see Haleigh the night she vanished, that she has been acting more calm and, "I think she's coming to realize she's in trouble."

If he meant 'complete', they must have found what they were looking for.
 
Thanks to everyone who gave us a rundown of what Sheriff Hardy said in the press conference.. I had to pick up my granddaughter from school and missed it..

I thought about that for just a split second...had to block it out because it made me sick to my stomach. I hope, however this little precious girl died, that she didn't feel a thing.

imhoo this presser was very informative.

1) it is now a homicide
2) she most likely died at the area they were searching
3) people in the case are talking
4) misty is in trouble and knows it
5) items were found at the scene and are being analyzed
6) they are building a case and hope to make an arrest
7) they now have several persons of interest
8) people behind bars related to this case have had lots of time to 'think'
 
After hearing the Sheriff say that Joe has lawyered up, I am having a hard time ruling him out of the crime.
