I posted on me WS blog what a court day entails for a prisoner but keep in mind KC is in PC. She can't be part of the cattle call approach for changing clothes, transport, etc. Down in the bullpen, waiting to come up to court is probably spent in a separate cage. The PC booth here (Allegheny County) was across from the bullpen. Depending on the mood(s) of the sheriff(s), she could be subjected to big time razzing. But, as the celebrity pointed out, that is the price of fame. Her outfit du jour intrigues me. I had the same suit, etc and only changed ties. Then again, I plead out and only had to go in front of the judge 3 times. Since she is PC, I would think anything would help alleviate was must be mind-numbing boredom. No playing cards or shooting hoops to whittle away the days until prison...

Someone mentioned that Brad C would be coming on IS today, their coverage stops here at 2:00 CT. I wonder if he's still going to be on.
As for what kind of thoughts are swirling about in JP's head, maybe that should be left to the psychics? :angel:
 
since the hearing was 3 hours i thought i would give you all a intermission movie-lol. no offense to just about everyone it could offend-. yet judge perry said its a horse of a different color and casey sure wishes she was at home like dorothy in wizard of oz. close your eyes and just click heels-- funny but hope its ok to post . if not delete jbean. just a lil laughter. the wizard of oz was referenced at the words horse of different color- [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6exm2Hi28Xw[/ame]

At the 19:35ish mark JB says I cannot imagine the floodgates that would open as a result of every time they filed a request with the court for funding or an expert for a specific aspect or experiment they want to run on this very circumstancial case. The pundits, the tabloid media, the leeches would have a field day on just this issue alone. If I can give you an example of how this newspaper the OS has utilized a request and asked for her commissary records, written stories about what she orders etc. This is what the OS is choosing to utilize in their quest for the right to know. It is defense's posistion that it lies to the heart of her defense these records must be sealed.

Okay, so that is not verbatim but its pretty close. I see where the confusion is in thinking they are addessing all records be sealed not just the JAC but jail & commissary as well. It is because JB himself brings it into the argument to show the frivolous nature of the requests and how it hurts his client and jeopardizes her defense and right to a fair trial. It's still just my opionion that they are dealing with the motion to seal the JAC documentsalone but it does appear fairly clear that it is the JAC only they are dealing with here. Otherwise I think the jail would have a say, because they are a separate entity and would need to respsond , no?

No meds. I think this was inmate Anthonys first full in her face wakeup to the serious of her actions. I think she was having flash backs as well as flash forwards of her life. She knows what the side bar was about. She knows why the A clan wasn't there, she knows what her fate will be.

Also I think she was being self contained with the new rules she was told to follow. She had deep breaths as well as lots of swallowing. It was evident when CM asked that she not have to attend hearings anymore.

She knows ..... I feel a plea coming down the road. ........ bus coming for the A compound residents.

Sorry QB, you were right in your recollection, see Baez brings in other issues and confuses things so much. He would love everything sealed though don't you think? Thanks for coming back and posting this.

Kathi got her intended message out to the paying public, and she knew she would show the paying public Baez' arrogance in feeling he does not owe the paying public an answer.

Baez needs to understand that he's not making friends with his Jury pool every time he behaves like this.

Kathi's intended mission was accomplished, impeccably! :D

Yup that bus is headed straight for the A compound, it was so obvious with the comment JB made about KC's car and then the catch of the slip to the Anthony family car.

One other thing that jumped out at me was the comment by CecyBeans upthread. She said that IF JB has the dog expert trash the abilities of cadaver dogs wouldn't that work against them when they state that Caylee could not have been there in August, September because dogs didn't hit? They can't have it both ways - I love it!!! I can't wait until someone points that out to them - like the State during the trial or pre trial hearing that JB expects to have about the cadaver dog evidence!!!

I was seated in the courtroom when KC entered and sat down. She primped and patted her hair and played with her fingernails but she never cried. She did wipe her eye and look at her finger but that didn't last very long and it wasn't crying she was doing. She did not look around the courtroom to see who was present or absent. She was animated with the female law assistant. She may have zoned out but IMO she wasn't drugged because she seemed to be lively before the hearing began.
 
I watched the hearing but am no good at posting and listening at the same time so I have a couple of after thoughts I would like to ask others their opinions of.

First the way JP keep bringing up that this being a DP case when he agreed to things. During the first hearing I thought he brought up the DP so much as he was trying to stress the seriousness of the charges to KC but today I got a different impression. Today I got the impression that he was almost admonishing the SA for seeking the DP on this case each time he said it.

Second when they was discussing the need for a cell phone expert and the pings. It almost sounded like JP was saying that testimony may not even be permissible as you couldn't prove who was in possession of the phone.

Please tell me I am wrong on both accounts and that it was just me today after trying to watch such a long hearing with only a little sleep last night.
 
I had to leave at page 24 and am back attempting to finish up but I have nearly peed myself laughing at the psychic tips, the canine expert remarks and the phone experts.
