If you remember when RC was first arrested he had a phone call with his new girlfriend he clearly states that Putnam County has already promised to NOT release his stuff. He says this to his girlfriend when she expresses concern about being on tv. Ron's jailhouse tape part a if my memory serves me.

yeah, but I thought then, as I still do, that they made that promise as a preemptive move-so he wouldn't question why his tapes weren't being released. That's crud. He's in jail on dang near a million dollar bond, & there's a reason that they don't won't him out. They're playing Ron. They know he's smart enough to keep his mouth shut on the tapes, & they know they're not gonna get much info from them, but you never know what' somebody's gonna let slip. He's the custodial father of a murdered little girl, & there is no way that they're gonna let one word he says, go unstudied. No way. They wanna solve this case-not just pin it on somebody. I do believe that, because this case is BIG & it's conclusion is gonna be scrutinized by a lot of people, including detectives, lawyers, ex FBI, etc...& it's gonna have to pass the scrutiny test.

IIRC....Thanks for the information. I haven't listened to many of the tapes released today... And that is interesting...According to Cobra, Peggy Cone and KP wanted to implicate WBG way back last summer...Seems to me LE and TN have something in common they don't care who is hauled in for questioning or who is implicated in this case just as long as it isn't Ronald Cummings or anyone in his family...:furious:JMO

I hope LE is using common sense here. Didn't WBG take & pass a poly? If not, then why are they just now getting around to this? Good grief...this is getting ridiculous. It seems that LE is wanting someone, anybody but themselves, to solve this case. Here we go again. Full circle. 1st Joe, & now WBG...what a blast from the past.

I still say he and misty were smitten with each other and I find it difficult to think misty didn't want to be with him on monday also. He said, "It was just a fling"....really? WBG called misty on monday...that indicates to me he was still interested. Did they hook up on monday? Come think of it that is another name misty never mentions.

Misty must know WBG is locked up. I imagine she doesn't feel so bad knowing all her buddies are in the pokey right along with her. Speaking of buddies, where are Nay and Amber?

So, if LE said they were releasing the tapes that were not related to Haleigh, then WTH are we listening to? Misty and Tommy have both said they didn't know for sure if JO is involved and then, bam, two weeks later we get a detailed tape saying he was the one who disposed of Haleigh and he threatened tommy and misty with a knife to their throats and tommy saw Haleigh in the van but was too afraid to say anything. Even rc said he was afraid of JO in his tape to Cobra...of course it was his infamous double-speak because before that he said he could take him out.

I guess TC was making the whole story up to get out again because it worked last time.
As far as misty goes, she is nuts..can't think of any fancy word there....just nuts.

I have to agree with someone else. It isn't what we are hearing but what we aren't hearing that is important.

It is just starting to dawn on Misty what she is in for. Everytime that she thinks about it is when you hear her
voice catch and her change the subject.

I think that the Peggy Cone visit was just basically Peggy seeing what Hank Sr and Lisa could tell them. The other thing is that they might be feeling Lisa and Hank Sr out for plea deals on their probation and time served because they both have trials coming up.

I did notice that Cher asked why when Misty said that they needed to get the paper because they were on the front page.

talking about Misty's hair....her braids that she had. Cher likes them, she wants them. Cher tells Misty stop messing with the bad boys. Cher says she needs to find a man that she can control, RC was too controlling. Misty needs to find someone that she can control.

Better yet, she could stay away from men altogether and try being her own person for a while. It seems to be an alien concept to everybody that Misty might be a functional human being on her own, sans a guy. Oh well, maybe prison will limit her dating prospects for a few years anyway.

Not that I have any love for RC but I wouldn't fancy a man who'd let himself be controlled by Misty either.

I think to give Ron up, she's gonna have to include herself, or give Tommy up. That's the impression I get from the tapes. I feel like any time Tommy's name is brought into it, her dad shows his anger, lets her know how angry Tommy is, & how angry Linsey is. He claims & even begs for the truth, but he makes it clear, that he wants a truth that doesn't include Tommy. Her dad is very manipulative. maybe because he doesn't believe Tommy's involved...maybe not. Misty has a real fear of her family abandoning her. They're all she has & she's desperate to keep them together. I feel sorry for her dad, but he's really pizzing me off. I feel like Misty has been manipulated from the get go, & he's no better. Seriously, I'm really ticked at him.

Misty has worn me out. I've come to the point where I can't believe her even when she's agreeing with me. I mean, all along I have said that she's been used... (hello, a sixteen year old providing under age sex and 24 hour daycare without getting paid for her trouble... she's the definition of being taken advantage of). However, this whiney "Ronald used me" spiel fails to move me to tears, it's just too little too late and I feel it may be self-serving. It plays to her defence, IMO. It stands to reason that if she was just a teen who got used she can't be the mastermind in a drug operation, right?

And if she was with Ronald just because she loved Haleigh so much she can't have hurt Haleigh because she loved her so much, can she? They'd been together for what, four, five months before Haleigh disappeared and she'd allegedly attempted to leave Ronald, (who was the One, according to her in another call) several times and only stayed because they played her love for Haleigh against her. Maybe I'm just an unusually cold person but I don't see how she can have had such deep feelings for Haleigh after babysitting for a matter of weeks. She babysat for AB's baby but does she profess to love that child? I might have missed it but I didn't catch her mentioning her deep love for Jr. either, just Haleigh although she babysat Jr. more than Haleigh who was at kindergarten most of the day. I think it's possible she just didn't need to mention it because those children are not missing in suspicious circumstances.

I'm sorry lady, but if you loved her so much you should not have done drugs around her, you should have called 911 when you first noticed her missing, and you should have been telling the truth from the start instead of all these dreams and stories.

I don't understand the excitement over comments like this when all Misty does is lie, lie, lie. Why should we believe anything she is saying? In my opinion she made this story about seeing or talking to Ronald up to boast to her friend Cher that Ronald claims he is still in love with her. It makes no sense to me whatsoever.

I'm with you, elle. Why believe what she's saying? I don't get it. People jump on all Misty's comments, but we know she's a liar, we've heard she has "dreams", so why believer her? She doesn't know if her dream about Joe was true, GMAB.

One thought I had about RC saying he won't testify against her and he loves her, could he have said this in court? It would only take a moment. She does say "yesterday" and earlier on the tapes, she tells Hank they were in court "yesterday". I'm not willing to believe a three-way conversation at this time. We know Tommy, Nanny Hollars, and Lindsy did it, but I'm thinking it would take a four-way to involve Ron and Misty. RC, GGS, Hollars, Misty. Would RC be allowed to call Misty's family? Would Misty be allowed to make calls to RC's family?

I know most or many of the released jailhouse conversations are put online at BNN and I know we cannot link to BNN here, other than links to those tapes/videos. However, BNN has always and continues to request information from LE, and they claim they have requested RC's jail recordings. The reason they were given of why RC's conversations have not been released was that PCSO has limited staff to listen to taped conversations and to make them available to the public and media is too time-consuming (or something along those lines).

I am not sure I believe this explanation, but it is the only explanation I have heard to date of why the media gets Misty and Tommy recordings, but nothing from RC.

I apologize if this post should not be here (with its reference to BNN)...but the taped conversations we hear on WS often do come from there so I thought it might be OK. I will understand if this post has to be deleted as inappropriate.

It's cognitively more complicated to lie than to tell the truth, so I'm inclined to believe that Misty tells the truth some of the time and we should believe some things that she says. The problem is knowing which ones.

It's a known fact telling the truth is easier than telling a lie that's why many criminals avoid telling outright lies. They avoid telling on themselves by trying to avoid answering questions and by adding unnecessary words. "I never, ever hit any woman."

In Misty's case, it's impossible to tell the lies from the truth because she keeps changing her stories. :banghead: Yes, I'm sure there is some truth there.

Listening to these tapes, my head is spinning. Hank and all his complaints. :crazy: Reminds me of Ronald and his underwear tape. :banghead: Hank has a sob story, doesn't he? He keeps throwing himself and his complaints into everything. Sheesh. What a mess. Some of the links to the tapes don't work for me.

This may have already been discussed, but one of the things that treally bugged me, was when Misty was talking about Teresa? wanting her out of their lives. She accused her of bringing drama into their lives. o.k...that really bugs me. Your child or grandchild missing, is NOT drama. It's horrible, heartbreaking, & a lot of other things, but drama? I don't think so. That choice of words really makes me question Teresa's motivation. Drama is a squabble between 2 teen girls over a boy. It's NOT a missing or dead grandchild.

dodie, I don't think Teresa meant to say "drama" I think she meant to say attention. So many things that Misty did drew publicity to the Haleigh case. I believe the Cummings family wanted this case to fade away, but because of Misty and all the attention she brought their way, it couldn't just fade, KWIM?

I imagine you're correct Jacy. I have no doubt Teresa and her family wanted this case to "fade away", but it's not going to happen, no matter the "attention" or "drama" brought by Misty Croslin. To see the true base definition of "drama", she needs to look no further than some of her own video clips.

In the one tape with Hank, Misty says "I want to come home. I want Haleigh to come home. I want my brother to come home, with his family......" Sure do wonder which brother she wishes would come home.
