From the State's response to defendant's Motions in Limine (as provided by Muzikman)
http://www.docstoc.com/docs/69484725/20110118-SA-Response-to-Defenses-Motions-in-Limine

"COMES NOW the State of Florida, by and through the undersigned Assistant State Attorney, and files this response to the following defense motions in lieu of hearing:" 7 defense motions are then listed.

When addressed at the hearing, I think some matters were finalised but others were answered in this response.

:welcome5:

I've wondered about that also, and, I SO HOPE that we get to see the great Mr. & Mrs. "our marriage is fine" Anthony take to the stand in the way that only they can pull off !!:woohoo:

Gee, I wonder if they will sit in the courtroom together, or will Jim L. (TV producer guy) sit between them to run interference.

I know we already knew the fate of the shovel, the tattoo, diary of days, Lazarro, and lying and stealing motions were coming (big fat DENIEDS all around, well, except for Lazarro, but still, a partial denial there!), but it's still so NICE to see it in writing! WOOT!!!! Man, Casey has so many nails in her coffin now, she'll never get out!

Happy Friday for justice for Caylee!!!!

Read the article for more info on State's Repsonse to Trunk Stain:

"If the history of this case has proven anything, it is that attorneys can make extravagant claims in pleadings that are not borne out upon closer examination," Ashton wrote in the response.

Ashton argues whether the trunk of Anthony's car contained the decomposing body of her daughter "is clearly material to the issue that will be before the trial jury in this case."

"The evidence that the trunk of the car contains a stain composed partially of volatile fatty acids consistent with decomposition and of the approximate size of a small child clearly tends to prove that material fact," Ashton wrote.

Order Denying Defense Motion to exclude Cindy's Myspace posting

I liked this part

"In Professor McCormick's famous formulation
"An item of evidence, being but a single link in the chain of proof, need not prove conclusively the proposition for which it is offered.... It is enough if the item could reasonably show that a fact is slightly more probable than it would appear without that evidence.... A brick is not a wall."

AND this one

"It is relevant to show the Defendant's state of mind during the time when Caylee Marie Anthony was missing, and ultimately, when it was determined that she had died. The weight of this matter is for the jury."

I love Judge Perry!

Woo Hoo!

That plea-deal ship has not only sailed but it has been blown to smithereens for Casey Anthony... she is goin' down without even a minute piece of the floating wreck in sight!

:innocent: And you know, they are: NINE INCH NAILS ! :innocent:

Has anyone published the States response about the stain? I hope we don't have to wait til Monday...TIA

I went back to the January 3 hearing. In it, LDB told the judge what she wanted out (Jib-Jab Video, the knife, details of Casey's sex life with TR and most of TL except for what it proved about Casey's state of mind). She wrote written responses for the rest. As I can clearly see, the State got everything they wanted.

Baez got nothing. Chalk a bunch up for the State.

The State of Florida has enough bricks to build that wall Judge Perry alluded to in his footnote. They have all the links in the chain.

The new "spoliation amendment" won't get anywhere. The smell will come in! Add another few dozen bricks for the State.

And, her mother will have to testify regarding the "dead body in the trunk smell" and the MySpace post .... effectively sinking her! No way to backtrack or claim "mistruths" or "half truths" on the jury stand. CA will be contributing a few more bricks for the State!

They were talking about the stream of motions on JVM..and TLs cute attorney is on..I taped it . He says they are going to argue that she had this double life.
