Tonight during KTAB News at 10pm, the only suspect in the disappearance of 13-year-old Hailey Dunn breaks his silence.
Shawn Adkins will speak out about the case in an interview with KTAB's Tiffany Tatro.

Sounds like his lawyer is loosening up a bit. First he can speak to BD, now a news reporter. I wonder if he's recommending that he talk to LE?

These are also used for mouth ulcers in cancer patients and people that have viral infections or develop ulcers with acidic foods. One quick touch cauterizes and it is very painful. Maybe the over-the-counter silver nitrate swabs are a lower strength than those found in ERs and hospitals? I will go searching for info.

yes they are very painful......the doc numbs up my son around the stoma....as long as it's only on the granulation tissue the doc says it doesnt hurt to bad....but...if it gets on the reg skin....its very painful.....

the granulation tissue once touched with the nitrate dies and turns dark and falls off....you can see this happening while they are touching the tissue....it really does burn the tissue off!

IIRC, BD had previously stated she was interrogated for up to 10 hours after the poly.

I thought she said she was there for 10 hours that day, not 10 hrs after the poly

THE COUCH!!! Okay, we're told by a local that it went to a person in need who went and asked Billie for it (when her daughter had just gone missing and she was
redecorating). Now, it's at the dump. IF it's really at the dump, I sure hope like heck it was processed with a fine tooth comb beforehand. There's a pic of it sitting in the back of a truck outside her house with a CCPD car right there at the curb.

I must have faith in LE on this one, right? No way, even in the early days of the investigation, would they have just let that couch go on its merry way, right?

That couch has more lives than a cat.

Sounds like more of the same from Billie and I can't believe she admitted that she brought home Silver Nitrate sticks from the hospital she worked at. Good grief. So now she has practiced at this hospital without a license for almost a year, printed and used tons of copy machine paper, stolen Silver Nitrate sticks, and God only knows what else.

She's in love with her boy toy and isn't going to give him up come hell or high water and she's sitting on her "new" couch because she won't leave the house in her "new" van to assist with searchers who are out busting their behinds every day looking for her daughter whom she just admitted that she cared less about than her boy toy?

Yea, this woman is a piece a work and it would suit me fine if she just disappeared from the radar with her boy toy. Disgusting!!!

Okay, didn't someone in another interview reference BD calling CPS... regarding something she saw at someone's house? I don't want to go into details b/c it's a basement discussion. But... hmmm. I'm going to head down there and look.

I didn't even listen, so thanks so much to all of you for posting the play-by-play. I hate how Billie seems to be making this "you and me against the world babe" - the romance of Billie and Shawn. It's absurd. Coming up next: Shawn goes on his whirlwind press tour. WTH?....

I am in the minority but I think Shawn is lying to her and that she is somewhat of denial over it. I also think he is manipulating her.

- Deception on a 4 to 5 scale when asked about Haleigh
- Visited the bridge 1 or two times (who would not know if it was 1 or 2?)

BUT THE BIGGEST thing she said was (that can I think I of) was "The little girl, of course said she wasn't at her house." What and why did she say that? Have to review the tape for the context on that GEM! (SIGH)

And listening to Billie in all of her interviews, on the 911 tape etc...she does not sound at all like a woman who is the least bit intimidated by SA or anyone else.

CD was going to call CPS on BD for scarring DD's back but BD beat him to hit by calling CPS as Hailey saw a mushroom at CD's brother's house. hmmmm...
