I was scrolling through a transcript of an interview she had after she was brought back into jail in October (http://www.wftv.com/_blank/18862202/detail.html), and it reminded me that she said:
"I have had interest in helping law enforcement from the beginning. Unfortunately my hands were literally tied and I was put in a position where someone's trying to trick a confession out of me.. and that's not going to happen."
Keep in mind, poor Caylee was still "missing" at this point. This is the entire defense- "Oh, they're picking on me". And the whole family is so self centered and the lawyer is so self centered that it all just feeds off each other and they're gonna ride this victim train all the way into the station (or the end of the hallway, as it were.)
Ridiculous.[/QUOTE]
BBM ITA This is the entire defense: Oh they are picking on me, as you said. Blame. I agree this is all a jury will hear. That and the Anthony's complete hostility toward anyone trying to find Caylee.
It occurs to me that this is an extension of JBs procrastination, stalling for time, putting things off. Now he's planning on making these hearings take forever...to delay timeframe? I hope HHJP schedules hearings this weekend to put it back on track.
We know the pros wouldn't torture us like this. So we went through all that so we could hear the grand Baez say:
So, you understand that Casey decided not to meet you based on the advice given to her by her attorney...ME...The Great Mr. Baez!
WOW!
We end with Mr. Baez saying the big ol' officers broke George into trying to get ICA to confess based against the advice of her attorney, ME, the Great Mr. Baez.
Break time (shower time for me). Recess...
BBM Thank you mgardner!
I wanted to express that but did not know how. Even with my opinion that what Jose is doing is wrong on every level of wrong. Same with George. Fine. But. Get. To. It.
It's like, even they, have a hard time being clear with what they are saying because they know what bull plop it is.
:cow:
now there is a lunch break, can anyone give me the cliffnotes? news sites havent got anything up yet really and I had to go grocery shopping so I missed it all
Been there done that! I think I'll do that every time JB is talking. When LDB is talking...I'm sitting down! The only good thing about JB's long ramblings is that my computer room is getting a good cleaning. I just turn up the audio and clean away....desk done yesterday, woodwork and cabinets this morning...next up the windows. Hubby can't say I have just sat around all day..hehehe!
JB still trying to get the witness to say YM told him to uncuff Casey.
Oh, he is being very snarky today. I might have to punch my monitor in the throat.
He`s wearing a mauve shirt. I was joking yesterday that all the spectators should wear mauve to court in support of Caylee. And he did!!20 bucks says Casey will ignore George as he walks by
Wow..George didn't look at her either...
I think Casey is writing down what she thinks of each person as they testify.. Right now I think that she is writing about dad and I do think there may be a llllloooootttt of swear words...
Okay... that whole audio was so Jose could complain... about what? It is my opinion, that it proves that LE was simply following Casey's lead... George stated at the beginning of the audio that it was he who asked for this visit... and Casey wrote a note to the Sheriff requesting this visit... detectives continued to say that it was what Casey wanted... it was what Casey asked for. When it became apparent that things were starting to look like it was going in a different direction, LE stated that Casey could meet with George alone, with her attorney... whatever she wanted.
I see no where in this audio where LE was doing this because they had orchestrated it? George wanted to see Casey alone without all the media fanfare and it being released to the public... which the still complain about... Casey wrote a note that she wanted to meet with her father alone. So they helped make that happen for her and her father... when Casey decided to back out... I see no evidence that LE was irritated with Casey's decision... they actually were saying that she could still meet with her father with her attorney.
LDB is going to rip this to shreds!
Wow... anybody remember about a million and a half years ago, when Hosey was on the stand... this morning? JB may not be much of a lawyer but he is an excellent physicist, figuring out how to make time slow down and all.
:banghead:
I'm late..
I snort laughed the nasal lining out of my left nostril.
woe is me.
Casey is writing a sequel to "Diary of Days." This one is titled "Tribulations of Trial." Casey is hoping this fictional work will be a best seller after her trial concludes and she's acquitted. It will finance her "la bella vita."

Remember when ICA said"don't worry.I haven't told them anything."
I just wonder if that ties in to why ICA chose her father to see alone.
"Get me outta here ,or else!" Up until then George was telling LE he thought ICA was involved .He also was somewhat estranged from KC,so it's never made sense to me that she suddenly trusted George so much that she wanted to waste her one shot alone time with him. Lee was the most obvious choice for that, but she chose George. Why?
Of course, she ultimately called it off ,but still.......
