NJ NJ - Annah Quereshy, 33, her dog was found in the apartment hallway, left around 5 AM, Jersey City, seen in Hoboken, 1 Mar 2025

I’ve noticed they said she was last seen on cctv in a park and in Hoboken, NJ. They didn’t say in a park in Hoboken, but I’m just assuming that might be what they mean. There is a strip of a park just beyond Manhattan Ave, so I guess it could have been there. Or there are the piers and waterfront areas. Would that be considered a park?

I’m contemplating the possibility of self harm. I thought maybe she might have been walking to a bridge, but the big bridges are all very far away (the GWB?). Also if she left roughly 5am, by the time she walked to a bridge, it would be the height of rush hour to midday. Someone would have seen her.

If it’s that sliver of trees (Riverview Fisk Park), where she was spotted, my gut is she’s in there. It looks very dense and I suspect people don’t venture far off the paths, so she would be easy to miss. MOO

Here is her apartment on Google Maps. You can see there is mostly just buildings around her.

Did she have a NamUs page?
I may be overlooking the link in her thread.
Sorry, I forgot to check if her profile was linked in the thread. This was her NamUs entry (made public on March 27):

Depends on her work and work schedule. I often have to walk my dog by 5, as I hit the road at 5:30 to beat rush hour into the city. But the 1st was a Saturday, I guess if she was in the food industry (restaurant or coffee shop open early) or working at a hospital she might go in tht early on a weekend, but I couldn't find any record of where she works (not uncommon - I've never kept a LinkedIn page)
Also depends on the dog. My bassets wake everyone up at 5AM on the nose because, well, they want to eat and can't wait any longer. 😑

The strip of land isn't a park, it's just the median between Paterson Plank Road and a railroad (which separates JC and Hoboken). There's nowhere to jump if you're going on foot in that direction. Maybe you could jump from the hill above the Lincoln Tunnel entrance, but she'd be spotted before she hit the ground. If that was her goal, she'd probably walk in the opposite direction towards the Pulaski Skyway, but that's still a hike. (The Wittpenn Bridge is closer, but that'd be like jumping into a swimming pool.)

Moo..if it was a regular walk..the dog would know how to get home and wait for door opening. Dog is obviously a smart dog.
There are only 3 units in the building. The door wouldn't have opened very often, and the dog would've been let in by someone in one unit (who would've recognized it) and "found* by someone in the other.
