The Lyndhurst NJ public FB page had an updates from her son on March 13 of this year. Unverified source so I can't link. He indicated that as of the 1 year anniversary of her last being seen she was still missing.

The son has mentioned very specific video evidence in his personal social media. That information has not been verified by LE (who wouldn't put have that out there for the suspect to see, I'm sure) so we can't link the info here.

Brendan R. Trivisonno, 38, the homeowner of the house where the SWAT standoff occured, was charged for a murder that allegedly occurred March 10, 2025, in Elizabeth, according to a warrant issued in Union County.

He had previously told NJ.com that police had detained him while leaving a job, impounded his truck and phone and had him submit a DNA sample.

Goncalves has never been found

A warrant charging Trivisonno with murder was issued at 4:30 a.m. on Thursday

Union County detectives and Lyndhurst police tried to arrest Trivisonno around 5:30 a.m.

The rest we know, so he was the suspect and POI all along, as we had thought. Well, my thoughts go to Janaina’s family, but also to his child who will have to live with this traumatic event.

If you can find son's social media he has some interesting comments on supposed evidence in the case.

As for the suspect - No red flags in public records recently but he was convicted of 2 separate heroin charges about 10 years ago. (see court record screenshot attached). From: Find a Case

He shared the home on Lake Avenue with a woman with a different last name than he. That may be a wife, or ex-wife, but I don't have a source of marriage records in NJ, so I could not verify or dispute that nor his marriage with the missing woman. The previous owner of the home was an older couple with the same last name as the woman now co-owner with the suspect, so I 'm guessing it was a family home she inherited. Detailed records are available for the address but not linking for her privacy and that of her child I truly feel for her, the loss of a partner, father to her child, and the trauma in her home. I hope she has family around to support her.
