Police Seek Help Locating Missing Newark Woman

Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., seeks the public’s help in locating Robin J. Bacote, 53, of Newark, who was reported missing on Friday, April 4, 2025.

Ms. Bacote was last seen at 12 p.m. on March 28, 2025 at Baldwin Avenue near Clinton Avenue. She was in possession of an electric scooter and a mini-speaker.

Detectives investigating this incident describe Ms. Bacote as African American, 5’9” tall and approximately 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a multi-colored scarf, a green vest, gray pants, and sneakers.

She is reportedly in good mental and physical health.

Missing NJ Woman Last Seen With Scooter Nearly 7 Weeks Ago: Police

She's lived in New Jersey (or someone with the same and exact same age has) for at least 20 years. I found two arrests dating back to 2011 and 2006 (probation violations that were closed). Nothing since, civil or criminal. Find a Case
