N.J. man who killed himself during SWAT standoff was wanted in missing woman’s murder, records show​

Brendan R. Trivisonno, 38, the homeowner of the house where the SWAT standoff occured, was charged for a murder that allegedly occurred March 10, 2025, in Elizabeth, according to a warrant issued in Union County.

He had previously told NJ.com that police had detained him while leaving a job, impounded his truck and phone and had him submit a DNA sample.

Goncalves has never been found

A warrant charging Trivisonno with murder was issued at 4:30 a.m. on Thursday

Union County detectives and Lyndhurst police tried to arrest Trivisonno around 5:30 a.m.

The rest we know, so he was the suspect and POI all along, as we had thought. Well, my thoughts go to Janaina’s family, but also to his child who will have to live with this traumatic event.

I guess we have our answer, he killed Janaina. Hopefully, LE figures out what he did with her body.

This is one of the earlier articles that mentioned her confronting him when she found out about his double life. N.J. woman mysteriously disappeared 1 month ago amid breakup. Friends plea for answers.

Yes, correct. I do not remember though how she found out. I guess lies have short legs
