Here it is:

N.J. man who killed himself during SWAT standoff was wanted in missing woman’s murder, records show

Brendan R. Trivisonno, 38, the homeowner of the house where the SWAT standoff occured, was charged for a murder that allegedly occurred March 10, 2025, in Elizabeth, according to a warrant issued in Union County.

He had previously told NJ.com that police had detained him while leaving a job, impounded his truck and phone and had him submit a DNA sample.

Goncalves has never been found

A warrant charging Trivisonno with murder was issued at 4:30 a.m. on Thursday

Union County detectives and Lyndhurst police tried to arrest Trivisonno around 5:30 a.m.

The rest we know, so he was the suspect and POI all along, as we had thought. Well, my thoughts go to Janaina’s family, but also to his child who will have to live with this traumatic event.
I guess we have our answer, he killed Janaina. Hopefully, LE figures out what he did with her body.

@truthfinder2019 didn't Janaina find out BT was married and had lied to her, then confronted him? I knew this somehow, but don't remember where I found that information.

This is one of the earlier articles that mentioned her confronting him when she found out about his double life. N.J. woman mysteriously disappeared 1 month ago amid breakup. Friends plea for answers.

Yes, correct. I do not remember though how she found out. I guess lies have short legs

A New Jersey woman missing for a year and presumed dead left behind a note saying she was afraid of her husband, who police say later killed himself when he was about to be arrested for her murder.

Janaina Freire Goncalves, 47, was last seen on security video as she let her husband, Brendan R. Trivisonno, 38, into her apartment building on New Point Road in Elizabeth at 7:38 p.m. on March 10, 2025, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

New details in the affidavit obtained by NJ.com point to chilling evidence that Trivisonno was responsible for Goncalves’ death and disappearance, including blood spatter in the apartment and a witness who described helping him move a heavy storage container.

The storage container was something Janaina's son had commented on (his social media). There is alledgedly (unverified as social media comment) video (security cam??) of the movement of that container out of the property.

a resident of the apartment building told them she heard loud banging, “like there were 100 people in the apartment.”

At one point, the resident heard a man say “Give me the keys for the car.” There was more banging, and another voice threatened to call police.

When detectives searched Goncalves’ safety deposit box, they found $11,000 cash, personal documents and a handwritten letter.
In the letter, Goncalves wrote “she was in fear of (Trivisonno) and that if the letter was found, something happened to her.”

Trivisonno was seen removing a duffel bag, garbage bags and a heavy storage container from her building, according to the affidavit.

Trivisonno placed the bags into a passing garbage truck, while the storage bin was placed into his work van parked on the street

During the investigation, it was discovered that (Trivisonno and Goncalves) were married in 2024. Three weeks before marrying Goncalves, Trivisonno married the other woman living with him.

Court documents and prior reports show that Goncalves was scared of what Trivisonno might do to her, and friends wereconcerned as well.

Brendan Trivisonno, 38, of Lyndhurst, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head

Trivisonno was seen on camera entering and leaving the apartment several times through the night and into the following morning, the affidavit said
