Jean whats her face from INsession talking about how Casey cried when they read the charges against her. Jean says she has never seen that before in any defendant. :dunno:

I don't know why Casey cries at that point but (my mind is fuzzy) I think she has done that all three days in a row? Is it only always after the potential jurors have come into the room? Does anyone know. TIA.

There wasn't enough time to make up cos Baez walked out the door behind her & came right back in alone..She, I believe, was headed for the bathroom due to feeling 'sick'.

I thought that JB might not be allowed in that room. Isn't it a holding room for all the prisoners on trial? The "medical assistant" lady goes in there so I'm assuming she works with the jail.

Instead of the half-baked whiney excuses, why not just look ICA in the eye and say I believe she is guilty and no I cannot set aside my beliefs at this point. B-O-I-N-G - out you would go!

I find it Ironic that though I do not hold anything against religon nor in someone's belief's, with that said the church lady used god as her excuse to not be able to serve kinda like ICA used Zanny the Nanny to not take the resposibility for the death of her daughter.......

LOL - I have pages of notes in front of me... But I'd trust the figures that are coming out regularly from IS that are being announced in the thread or on the twitter thread. I'll try to put together my totals for the end of the day. If I hear a number in the mean time, I'll post it.

Then to assure the woman headed to London on July 14 they'd be done. How can he know? Jury could deliberate for weeks! - more like hours, but I'm just saying.

With all the dates thrown around....I can't help but wonder if this will end up a bench trial and the jurors will be for the sole purpose of penalty phase.

It would fit no???

I think that mystery woman is a religious counselor or mental health counselor. She has always displayed a cheery disposition and has a calming effect on ICA. She is overly cheery faced when speaking with ICA. She has no worries to consider so I believe her "job" is to cheer the inmate and keep her calm. Her role cannot be to select jurors because her demeanor says "everything is okay".

July 22nd he said to a juror but even that makes NO sense to most of us or the th's on InSession a few minutes ago.

He also said he doesn't "expect to be there in July"..That to me was even more puzzling. :waitasec:

will he offer another plea deal?

You are probably correct. I just thought that attorneys are only allowed to be with their prisoner client in specific rooms but the guards could have escorted them to one of those rooms.

That's what I'm thinking, but why WHY do this then?

I'm sure there's a reason, I'm sure the DT will move to strike the whole panel (if they get one) for whatever reason....
Editing to add - I misread your question. I see that you were refering to penalty phase only - sorry too quick on the draw there.
