LDB: LA talking to ICA, trying to convince her to take mom to Caylee. LA roll plays, pretends to be police officer "take us to the child"

HJBP: recess for 15 minutes

Cindy calls Amy asks about Casey and Caylee. Amy says I just saw Caylee. Cindy is now tracking down Casey's friends. Despite hesitation because of the sound in Cindy's voice Amy lets Cindy pick her up, Cindy tells Amy what has been going on and Amy takes her to Tony's apt. They knock on the door and get Casey out of there, Caylee is not there. Where is Caylee Anthony? You will hear that Cindy basically pulls Casey out of there without her phone or belongings and they get in the car. Drop Amy off, at this point Cindy is not going to be denied access to her granddaughter who has now been gone for a month. Casey tries the same old Zanny story, with Cindy but Cindy will not be denied access to her granddaughter and since Casey is stonewalling telling her mother she doesn't want to upset Caylee's routine and Cindy decides to get the police involved. She drives Casey to a LE substation which is close and makes the first 911 call.

During this trial you will hear that first call that Cindy made to the Orlando Police Dept. She wants her daughter arrested. The dispatcher is trying to determine if a crime has been committed, it is determined hopespring is in the jurisdiction of OCSO. During this exchange and while there is some dead air between the dispatcher and Cindy you can hear Cindy threatening to take Caylee away from Casey and Casey asks for one more day. You will learn that during this exchanged who has been aprised of some of it, not all of it calls Lee Casey's brother and says you need to get to the house. Lee arrives at Hopespring just before Cindy and Casey. As they pull out they rush in he gets no info, he noticed himself there is a overpowering smell associated with that car. Cindy basically tells Lee to get info from your sister, she is not telling me anything I want her to take me to Caylee now. Shortly after that Cindy makes second 911 call this time to OCSO, she again talks about having her daughter arrested, mentions at that time a possible missing three year old. The dispatcher gets from Cindy that Casey will not tell her where Caylee is, so when units from OCSO are dispatched they are unsure if it is stolen car call? Other theft call? Domestic? While Cindy is waiting, Lee is talking to Casey who is now in her room. Lee is trying to convince to just take mom, Cindy to Caylee. What is the problem? This is going to happen anyway? Why are you doing this? Until Lee engages in role playing with his sister and says, good evening take us to the child we all go home happy.

HHJP: gong to take a recess. fifteen minutes.

It looked to me like Cindy was taking notes throughout all this, did anyone else see that?

Crappy time for a recess, IMO, HHJP should have waited for the transition after the 31 days and KC's "admission".

I can't belive that they are allowing a recess in the middle of opening statements!!!!!!!!!!!! SHe only gets 2 hours. It can't wait 30 more??

this is taking too long. Is there any time limit to opening statements? IDK where to ask this question in a thread that doesn't have 100 posts a second. If anyone wants to PM me the answer - I'd appreciate it.

a short recess ...
