I knew they were going to blame him for not calling LE

In all this time it never once crossed my mind that he should have called the police. I understand his not doing it. Probably many of his cars have nefarious connections of some kind LOL I dislike the defense acting as if he is some kind of criminal.

JB trying to make it look like the tow guy is guilty of someone because he had not called LE after smelling the car or seeing news coverage. JB seems to like to make enemies of everyone.

Good girl re-direct

Mr. Burch does the form letter state where the car was towed from?

Yes

Thank You LDB the letter stated where the car was towed from

Oh for GAWDS sake... he's trying to imply the Orange County Sheriff's office put him up to saying he smelled decomp in the damn car!

Does Jose think Cindy is also in cahoots with them too?

The DT has a major problem with everyone is in on it. This is going to discredit them. I understand a lot of witnesses need to be treated in such a manner, however, these are not drug co-defendants from jail. These witnesses so far are upstanding citizens with no felony records. I would have questions if I were a juror.

I find it absolutely hysterical that JB tries his hardest to imply blame, ulterior motives, etc... then loses his train of thought and cannot wrap up what he's trying to get across to the jury then has to ask for a moment to confer with his DT to see if he has anything else. That jury has got to be scratching their heads!!! He is SO incompetent!!! It's embarrassing!

George had tracked down Johnson Towing's phone number/address prior to picking up the letter...correct?

LDB very competent and professional, and virtually glides when she walks across the room.

What is the big deal that George brought gas cans to the tow yard? We know and even George has already testified to the fact that Casey was always running out of gas (and stealing gas from him). So if her car was towed, it's not a giant leap to think maybe she ran out of gas somewhere and that's why her car was towed, hence their aggravation with her.

In JB mind he thinks he is scoring points, when in fact bringing gas cans along it only shows how well G and C knew their daughter.

It is conflicting. Since they ddnt call even though they work contracts for the LE agency.

conflicting for a moment only until one realizes CSI would have already smelled the same smell SB did, would likely have been given the same info from GA SB was told, and why wouldn't SB assume LE would make contact with him if they needed additional information from him? What reason would SB have to believe he had information LE didn't already have?

jmo

It's really slimy how JB forms his questions to the witness according to what answer he wants to hear. "And you did not..." If he wants a 'no' answer, for example. A normal person would say "Did you..." as a more neutral wording. Is this a common practice among all lawyers?

Baez also claims that George threw the garbage...but it wasn't George.

Well, he looked in the trunk with GA and they didn't find anything. I guess I would let it go at that point, also. jmo

If you were SURE wat you smelled was decomp and you have a guy saying his grand kid and daughter are missing?

The car has been there for awhile no calls about it?

I am a WSer ,I would have called if I was SURE it was decomp. If I wasnt sure my phone would be loaded with pictures of the tag and the inside of the car.

i would like to know if this wrecking yard had cameras so they would know if anyone got near the car while it was stored there.
