sorry to keep repeating myself, but if ICA says CA has had three years to protect her - then all she is talking about is saving her *advertiser censored** - if she'd been abused, she would have said 25 years or all my life...

For those who are thinking that George MIGHT have been raping her since she was 8, or 10, or 13...think about this fact.

Casey did not tell her mother about this childhood abuse at all. She had her attorneys INFORM Cindy what the new defense strategy was going to be about 6 weeks ago. That was it.

Casey could have told her mother about the abuse after she was first arrested and then released. They could have gone to the SA and told about her being forced to have oral sex and about the accidental drowning, and she would have walked FREE. Wonder why she never did that.

ICA only talks about the last 3 years, but JB contends CA was all part of the abuse coverup for years - knew about it and taught her to lie...so if only the last three years are of concern to her, then she's not talking about abuse - just gettin outta jail.

I watched some of Cindy's testimony but not all. Did Cindy testify to anything different that would have Casey go into a tizzy fit? Or was it that Cindy did not acknowlege her?

Listening to CA today recounting all of the whoppers that KC told her over that 31 days and how she bought every one hook, line and sinker I am sure that she really thought that she would buy this one, too. It never occurred to her that her mother wouldn't believe her. No matter how unlikely or outlandish the story it seems that her mother always believed her and stood by her. Now she must feel like they have chosen Caylee over her once again.

I agree 100%. And I couldn't quite figure out why ICA was shaking her head no, no when showing the backyard playhouse. Like "look what they bought for Caylee - they never bought anything like that for me". It's always about Caylee - WHAT ABOUT ME!

That's the impression I took away from it.

While once I was mad at CA, now my heart aches. She wanted to believe her daughter so bad (as any parent would). Now to only realize the truth after all these years.

And yes, Miss Living in her own world (actually the jail) has no one to blame but herself here. Not answering letters. Not meeting with her parents. Just sucking down the money they could ill afford to put in her commissarry account!

I just watched KC's little hissy...boy oh boy Cindy just knocked the little Princess right off that high horse and it's been a long time coming! I must say I was very proud of Cindy for telling the truth.

I have tried to feel sorry for CA all these years. It is obvious that she deeply loved Caylee and that she deeply loves her daughter and would do anything to protect her, even at the cost of justice for her granddaughter. The depth of her denial was so obvious to everyone but her.
She has lost nearly everything because of her defense of her daughter. Her reputation has been ruined. Her marriage put under unimaginable strain. Her own family turning against her because she felt the need to defend her child, because she believed in her child. She always said that she trusted KC more then anyone else in the world. She wanted so badly to believe that some evil nanny had taken Caylee that she even denied DNA evidence of her death.
I understood when she said she couldn't turn her back on her daughter. She must have felt so alone when everyone else in the world seemed against her child. I am a mother and I know what I would do for my children.
I hope she can rebuild her life.

I think CA and GA are going to start receiving lots of support now from all over the country......people are going to be so happy that they have finally seen ICA for who she truly is...... And I think that will help them to continue on their path to see that Caylee gets the justice that she deserves from her grandparents and hopefully Uncle Lee, also.
I have not been a CA or GA fan for a very long time now but today I saw a woman who is totally grief stricken at the loss of her beautiful Caylee....can't even begin to imagine the pain that she and George are going thru, waking up every day has to be a total nightmare for them...almost unbearable!

I think CA & GA will still put $ in ICA's commissary account. There's probably a part of them that feels guilt & blames themselves for the way she turned out & the resulting loss of their granddaughter, whether it's warranted or not.

I hope someday they will be able to forgive themselves. This week was a good start. They were there for Caylee.

With all due respect that is exactly my point. How did she become those things? Sometimes parents feel guilty and let the child run rampant and get away with murder, this time is was literally murder. I don't believe people are born sociopaths or spoiled brats. So how did she become such a murderous lunatic?

Anyway, I'd still convict her because she is a grown woman, but these things don't just happen in a vacuum.

I believe that a child can be born a sociopath.. just not spoiled. However, I have seen where a sociopathic child is so hard to handle with the tantrums, lying, doing whatever it takes to get attention, they want your attention 24/7 that the parent eventually gives in and does WHATEVER it takes to keep them happy. Then they are spoiled because they get WHATEVER they want.

Also, I thought she was shaking her head because Cindy was saying how ALL of the work and effort was done by she and george and lee. They did the planting, bought the lil mailbox, put in the tile floor, [ made me feel guilty cuz my kids was on the wet grass] ...etc etc. And poor casey felt so put out not to get any credit for being such a good mom. imoo

Oh it was after the jury was removed. ICA is rather stoic when the jury is in the room. wiping away a few tears, but that's it. They haven't seen the real ICA.

ICA must spend hours every day wandering through the paths of her flawed brain cells rehearsing speeches for different scenarios. The one fact you overlooked is that Caylee Marie has a strong pure spirit of goodness that is going to outshine any dirty plot you propose.

When you click on the video at the beginning of this thread before it starts it is frozen on Cindy. From then till about 3 to 5 seconds into it, am I seeing it wrong or does Cindy have a smug look on her face? It could be a distortion in the tape and she is really frowning or something, but it sure looks like a smug smile.

to lighten things up a little. IF the defense announces that KC is going to take the stand, I would not be surprised if LDB and JA get into a wrestling match right there in the courtroom over who is going to cross examine her :floorlaugh:

Yes, Casey certainly has to be in control. There are some parallels between her meltdown today and how she was acting in her much-publicized phone conversation with her parents while she was in jail - a conversation that has a lot more meaning when heard in its entirety rather than as a tabloid TV soundbite.

Speculation: As a precaution, she may be back on suicide watch.
