figure of speech, she was missing in my heart, Casey and I spoke about why I wrote that.

no I did not. Casey explained that she needed time away. She was not punishing me, she needed time to sort things out. Seeing Jeff again rekindled and empty nest and loved me and didn't want me upset and she needed to work things out in her mind. She was going to grow up and I realized I was being selfish.

I started texting her. she would leave messages and I would text back. I did persist every day about speaking with Caylee because I wanted to hear her voice.

yes, monday or tuesday plus we knew Casey needed to get her breaks done. I don't know a lot about cars and I was the one who spoke to Casey everyday.

on that Sunday after the holiday weekend we got a text that Jules was getting married and Jules is jeff's mother...impromptu thing she had had cancer and they were getting married at the chapel and they would be home on Monday july 14th

they were packing, her and Jeff. Jeff was coming back to Orlando and they were caravaning back and would try to be home by tuesday the 15th.
LDB: on sunday were you and your husband working in the yard?
yes, had planted new sod and George was watering it, so I was out weeding and George was off to the side and I noticed a paper on the door...
LDB: why was it difficult to see it?
a glare off the glass on the front door and the notice blended in with the front door, as I got closer I could see it and I took it off at that point.
LDB: do you know how long it was there?
thursday or friday, I saw either the 10th or 11th date on there

George went to Johnson's and handed him a receipt and it was 400 and both our names was on title and so we both went. I stopped at ATM to get money...

within minutes of him going to the post office he was at the tow yard, if I had to guess 12:30 1:00.
LDB: did you get any access to the car while at tow yard?
I did not, I was close to the car when George came around when he could drive it, I was waiting for him and it was raining. He said lets get this car home it stinks.
LDB: were you able to detect an odor at that point?
no, we went home and George drove into the garage the right hand side, my normal spot and I left mine out.

George was out of the car and as I walked up I could smell the car.

oh my gosh what is wrong with the car, and George preceeded..

George was getting ready to go to work, we had opened the trunk and we took the battery out because we were afraid Casey would come and take the car and we couldn't talk to her. I noted Casey's purse was on the front see, and Caylee's favorite doll was sitting like where she would have sat. I noticed Caylee's backpack in the back of the car. I took Caylee's doll out of the car and I took the backpack out of the car and Casey's purse out of the car and Casey's shoes...a blue plastic collapsible basket in the back...belts and odd and ends...
Caylee's doll smelt like the car, we have an ice chest and I sat the doll down and got a clorox wipe and wiped down the face and the hands and the cloth smelled and I got fabreze and sprayed the doll, I used a whole can of fabreze on the car...

yes
LDB: the smell is that a smell you recognized?
it was pretty strong, I used the expression what died, but at that time I never put anyone in the trunk of the car, I was satisfied with what George told me at the tow yard.

very bad wounds, amputees who have flesh that rots, as a student nurse we went to the morgue to see bodys that had been out there a while.

I think it's good that CA didn't think it was decomp odor because that helps explain why she told GA to go back to work and why they didn't call the cops. I think at that point the idea of Caylee having died in the trunk was so far out of the realm of something she could consciously consider without losing her mind that she shielded herself from that possibility. :cow:

I agree. She is trying to explain why she didn't call 911 at that moment instead of looking for Casey.
My guess it is more like trying to justify her denial for that long chunk of time.

CA on Stand w/LDB
July 3, myspace posting...Caylee missing and CA didn't know why..figure of speech she was missing inmy hear....felt kc betrayed her ...kc said she needed space..not trying to punish her...seeing Jeff H rekindled her feelings and KC explained some day she and caylee would be moving out and CA would have empty nest syndrome.....kc said JH was a wealthy man who lived out of town....CA feelings up to 7/3/08....thought KC was jealous....(object leading-overruled) brought up to CA by JG while they were dating....(object-sustained) discuss w/KC that CA thought she was jealous of her mom, kc said she left without telling CA even though she had raised, fed, sheltered, paid the bills for CAylee...kc didn't mention control her life @ that time....kc said she does need her space....a few days after 7.3.08 CA learned how to text during that time ....talk to her everyday and asked to speak w./Caylee ..missed her little voice....told at various times Caylee was napping or w/JH's mother....on a boat or beach in Jax; had thought she was going to come home weekend after the 4th of July....something wrong w/Pontiac...her boyfriend Jeff would take it to the shop...she stayed out of town turned into Mon or Tues. had to order a part and KC needed to get her brakes redone ...assumed that was correct....GA asked everyday if cA had spoken to her....cA told GA to leave her be...following weekend after 7/4 expected her to come home...received a text saying Jules is getting married....Jules is JH mother....she had cancer and getting married by hospital chaplain....this was Mon 7/14...kc was in Jax getting car packed and ready to go....Jeff & Kc would caravan back (he following her) and be back on on 7.16.08. ......on Sunday 7/13 planted new sod between sidewalk and street.....out weeding in front noticed a paper on the front door. Notice kinda blended in with the reflection from sun on the glass...believe note put there on Thurs or Friday....saw 10th or 11th date when it was posted on there....CA uses garage door for egress into home....certified letter from Johnsons....she didn't know anybody Johnsons neither did GA....GA was pick it up on Monday on his way to work....GA just started w/new job...expecting KC & JH on 7/15 thought she would be home sometime in afternoon....CA went to work that day...GA schedule 3-11 shift....GA went to post office to pick up letter around lunchtime on 7/15....GA called CA @ work to tell her about letter....kc's car in Orlando @ tow yard....got ahold of KC ....she had lot explaining to do....car had been towed and it had been there couple of weeks....GA went and found out $500 and needed title...CA went and got $500 and went home to get GA. CA did not have access to car @ tow yard...GA pulled up close to CA & said this car stinks,raining, we need to get home.
GA pulled KC's car into right side CA's normal spot in the garage....CA left her car out...misty rain....as soon as CA got out of her car....she began to smell the car...(object-overrule) smelled like something died in the car...learned garbage had been in the car....after GA went to work between 2 and 2:30...opened trunk & hood & GA took battery out of car thought kc might try to take car and wanted to speak with her..kc's purse in car...Caylee favorite doll was in carseat....Caylee backpak in trunk and KC's shoes. Took doll, backpak, purse out of car....left stuff in trunk except backpak....doll smelled like the car....wiped doll w/chlorox wipes and sprayed febreeze on doll and in front and back of the car...smell in the car was pretty strong....

IMO she will never hold herself together through this with all the head shaking, face jutting and lip pursing. It is so obvious that it is pure unadulterated anger. IMHO the jury will also be able to see though it and understand her as we do.
