All we want is the truth right? And when we can help get the truth out it is a good day.

My goal is to one day is to make law enforcement posting on Websleuths considered a great thing and not something the defense thinks they can use against a cop.

It was erroneously reported at the time that he was reprimanded. I spoke to him personally and he said he was asked to stop posting. No reprimand at all. This was a few years ago.

Not knowing a lot about how police management works I do know if someone is reprimanded it's kind of a big deal. Paperwork, official warning blah blah blah. Melich was asked to stop posting. That's all.

EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!! JB wanted to try to snowball the mis-reporting into a truth in court and the judge in his wisdom didn't buy what he was selling!

In addition, JB tried to misconstrue a quoted post with a hypothetical question answered into a breach of ethic and again IT WAS NOT!

Here is my post from today when I was fuming hearing this 'stunt' on national tv -- it has links to where it is stated -- NOT TRUE.

Lee's CMA speech at the memorial struck me as very odd too. Whether he was talking about Caylee, Casey, Cindy (or all three), I agree with what was said on the Nancy Grace show that it came across as code. Why not just say the name(s) of those you admire so much? Just plain odd, imo; the words as well as the delivery. It seems more difficult for members of the Anthony family to just say what they mean (and maybe mean what they say?) than most. I think that's why I'm always on a rollercoaster in my opinions of them individually - with the exception of Casey - my opinion of her hasn't changed one darn bit in 3 long years...

Funny, I've been watching todays tape and I am at the part where JB is claiming YM is engaging in "self promotion" (note: quotes mean exact words). The irony is rich. HHJP could not find a pacific example.

Haha @ pacific. I was giggling at that a little earlier during the trial. I am so impressed with this judge, though. My patience would have worn out with JB, and HHJP gave him PLENTY of chances to cite specific examples, etc. but was very thorough in why he wasn't giving JB what he wanted. He's so thorough and detail-oriented.

JC says YM was blogging about praying for Caylee and looking for Caylee!

I remember this on here! What struck me at the time, and has stayed with me is how gracious and kind of him to ask for prayer for the very family that was dragging him through the mud. Not only a top notch detective, he could teach a course on "How to be an effective witness in court." A sterling character on top of it all. He's one of my favorites in this case.

Actually I can think of many ways she has taught him about life. Loving children with all your heart. How they can bring joy to each and every day and when that joy is gone it can certainly make you grow up and learn about life. Just to name a few. With all due respect.

Geraldo is buddies with JB. JB tried to pull that Miranda stuff at the Agent of the State hearing. It was shot down by HHJP. I can't figure out what GR is doing on Fox. I am middle of the road politically and Fox is generally to conservative for me. Is GR their token liberal or what?

I could be wrong, but I believe he may be a Republican (GASP!) with more liberal views re social issues (GASP, GASP).

Never hurts to view the other side.
