What in the world are JB and ICA reading so intently? At times they smirk and other times they seem engrossed.

For those of you asking - I noticed in the legal thread last night - our new legal certified person beachbumming answered the question regarding ipads and laptops in the courtroom.
That answer was: ICA is actively involved in her defence and she would be allowed to access those devices in the courtroom.
That answer surprised me - but there you have it.
I don't like it either.

I'm getting the point. Bones does not alert on dead animals. Got it.

What are both ICA and JB watching on the screen?
Why aren't they paying attention to what the witness is testifying to?

I think they are actually reading the live transcript as it's being recorded IMO.

This is really fascinating!!! I wish all law inforcements would be able to have these dogs!!

#CaseyAnthony I'm watching @BiancaMPrieto on her iPad learning tricks.

The judge wouldn't let us use computers w/ keyboards. Too noisy.

With the exclusion of bomb-sniffing dogs, all other "sniffer" type dogs are being placed under great scrutiny nationwide right now, in regards to the law. I don't know where it will end up, but I have a feeling their usage is going to be greatly hindered in the future until there is a widely accepted set of Standards for their breeding, selection, and training.

Really? I haven't seen that but I can't see how or why that would be, it is natural for dogs to look for carrion and hunt so looking for a dead body is much more natural to a dog than sniffing out bomb chemicals.

According to my friend a reporter for a local paper in Orlando...she has been in the courtroom...her response was "ICA is allowed access to DT computers regarding her defense only. She is not supposed to be using them for other means." IDK if there has been a change in that procedure but it appears to me that ICA is using those computers at her will and I do not think it is only regarding her case! MOO

KB: Bones was able to locate a source where a body had been buried at one point.

What is his reward?

A tennis ball.

Not food?

No.

LBD: You also keep track of Bones' real-world performance?

Yes.

LBD: Tell jury what dates Bones was called out on a search and what the results of that were.

LBD: 2006, do you have a record of Bones being called out for a search.

Yes.

Did Bones alert on that day?

No.

What was found?

Dead animal.

(Lists other cases where Bones was sent out, did not alert, but other items--not deceased humans--were found.)

LBD: In September 5, 2006, was Bones called out to determine human remains present.

Yes. No alert.

Area searched?

Yes. A dead possum was found.

(Cases where no alert was given, but animal remains were found. He does NOT alert on animal remains.)

I guess she's bracketing the 08 searches for Caylee by referring (repeatedly) to information from 2009? To show Bones didn't have a pattern of false alerts before *or after* the Anthony back yard search?

Do we have any tweets about who is out in the hallway waiting to testify next?

LBD: Has he alerted on human remains? 2007--do records show Bones was called to a location and he found what?

KB: Small bone fragments from a skeleton that had been removed and the were searching for remaining bone fragments.

Another call, a body was buried in the woods for 2-3 weeks, and bones found the body.

I wonder if it is subject to monitoring? No different then using a phone or mail to assist in her case.

I gurantee you if it was something other than for her defense the bailiffs would alert the judge and/or have her reprimanded.

It has always been like this btw. A defendant is allowed to defend themselves using whatever tools are made available to them. She technically could do it herself without lawyers.

I think they are reading the real time testimony on her laptop now, for some reason. This is the first time that I have noticed that.

Casey just leaned into DS and whispered behind her hand. DS pulled away.
