:waitasec:Is it just me? Does the defense team not look kind of depressed today? Like they are ready to throw the towel in? I'm gonna assume that Baez will try to pull another rabbit out of his hat on cross. :nono:

Funny to me that bomb sniffing dogs are greatly depended on by the military, drug sniffing dogs are greatly depended on by DEA and other law enforcement entities, BUT death sniffing dogs are questioned by the great JB........just saying.

ETA: don't forget search and rescue dogs.......

With the exclusion of bomb-sniffing dogs, all other "sniffer" type dogs are being placed under great scrutiny nationwide right now, in regards to the law. I don't know where it will end up, but I have a feeling their usage is going to be greatly hindered in the future until there is a widely accepted set of Standards for their breeding, selection, and training.

Some guy from HLN said last night that yesterday was the first time he'd seen a change of mood in ICA since the trial started. He thought she seemed more concerned, more intimidated by the testimony than before - like it is getting to her.

Will watch for that today because I hadn't noticed that.

I watched all day!!! And I agree, she is worried about the dogs. The car trunk maybe? But she was more agitated yesterday. Today more subdued.

I think we're going to see a lot of nervous people. They're dealing with testifying in a case that has gone worldwide and there are cameras all over the place.

Oh, without a doubt. I have been involved in a couple of legal proceedings on a very SMALL scale and was shaking in my boots. I can't imagine having to deal with what each of these witnesses have to go through. Applause goes out to all of them.

I have seen ICA using what looks to be a laptop computer a couple times now during the trial... Is this normally allowed? How do they know she isn't using it to contact people? You can even send text messages from the Internet now...

Ya know, I had the same thought.
Then I begin to think: Who the heck would respond to her IM's or emails.......she has no friends left, no?

ICA shaking her head 'no' at the states next exhibit & secret discussions regarding same....

ICA looks like a ghost, someone who's barely sleeping and probably not eating either.

I think it's just a normal facial tic for KB to get that unhappy look on her face when asked a question - I think it's just a look of concentration.

Bones and Gerus! :rocker:

They have NO financial interest in this case!

Little heroes.....warms my heart to think they're just in it for the praise.

Three cheers for our canine brothers in uniform!!!!

Kristin B is explaining Bones' training. He is trained for woods, high grass, normal grass,
pavement...

Did Bones' have false alerts? would they have been recorded?

Yes.

What was his performance at that school?

Did he have false alerts?

No.

Was he able to find all of the targets that it was intended he find?

Yes.

KC - quick glance at LDB when she mentions "false alerts". WTG, LDB!!!! She's cutting JB off at the knees by questioning the witness regarding "false alerts" and no finds, and whether they are documented (a "yes" in answer to this).

Awesome point! The whole cadaver dog line of questioning seems to have gotten KC pretty strung out, imo.

"Bones"....a little dark humor in naming a cadaver dog Bones!

Oh....and GOOD MORNING, peeps!

The mock juror is now angry, because WSers are making her feel that she would be remiss in her duties if she left the court room and went to fold laundry.

(I'm hanging in. Just NOT 3 hours...please, LDB!)

Even If she has no friends left, she could be reading here for all we know! I thought all inmate communication was recorded/monitored? No?

The #CaseyAnthony jurors seem to be holding up remarkably well. A few of them look tired, but they're all paying attention.
