I think they are reading the real time testimony on her laptop now, for some reason. This is the first time that I have noticed that.

So does that mean what the court reporter is typing is instantly shown somewhere? I didn't know testimony was published in real time. :waitasec:

I gurantee you if it was something other than for her defense the bailiffs would alert the judge and/or have her reprimanded.

It has always been like this btw. A defendant is allowed to defend themselves using whatever tools are made available to them. She technically could do it herself without lawyers.

It's been a long time now but I remember a way while back when Nancy Grace had on a dog and his handler (nice blonde lady) to demonstrate how the dog would react to decomp. They had put a piece of clothing that had the decomp on it hidden in a couch or chair prior to bringing the dog on the set. I don't think I've seen a dog more excited to find a piece of clothing, and he went right to it. He acted as if he'd hit the Vegas jackpot in rawhide bones and treats!

I was so impressed by that. These dogs are so specially trained, and they have the proof of it, so JB objecting to this seems very silly to me. It's not like they asked my cat, who does fetch but wouldn't know decomp from the man on the moon, to sniff in the A's backyard. These dogs are trained professionals.

So far, I'm following this testimony without feeling any boredom or hostility towards the state (yesterday, I did get angry at them for the 3 hour thing). My feeling is that, if LDB gets through this background stuff fairly quickly, she will not lose the jury as she did yesterday.

I have not left to vaccume. Yet.

I think the different avenues Bones is able to find remains is actually quite interesting. If he can narrow down a body in a lake, he surely would have hit on the pool the Defense is saying Caylee drowned in right?

According to my friend a reporter for a local paper in Orlando...she has been in the courtroom...her response was "ICA is allowed access to DT computers regarding her defense only. She is not supposed to be using them for other means." IDK if there has been a change in that procedure but it appears to me that ICA is using those computers at her will and I do not think it is only regarding her case! MOO
